This and a small horchata were $16 plus a tip. The person at the window was very pleasant. The food (while a lot) is not worth the high price in my humble opinion. The meat is overcooked and it just tastes like a basic $7 Taco Bell burrito. Nothing to write home about.

ITS FINE
Expect to pay somewhere in the realm of $15. For that $15, you can expect a huge burrito (or whatever you order) along with chips and salsa or fries. Believe it or not, the food here is awesome! I say this as nothing but praise, if i had to describe the restaurant’s food, it would be….. A fantastic Mexican food truck (tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, that kind of thing), but you get twice as much as if it were in wheels, and everything is made on the spot.

When we arrived they there was no one else in the restaurant. We could hear people in the back but no one came to take our order. We waited about 6-7 minutes and when the drive thru dinged someone came to check the drive thru. That is when they knew we were there. Even then, they were slow about taking our order. The restaurant didn’t seem to be managed well. Lights were out, music was really loud and food tasted like it had been kept warm for a long time.

Food was average. I had the street Tacos. The chorizo was very greasy and actually caused heartburn. I usually have no issues with chorizo. The Al Pastor was very underflavored. This is typically my favorite taco to get. On the plus side the chips and salsa were very good. The salsa had a good fire roasted taste and was not overly spicy, just good flavor.

Yum!!! We got a taco family pack. Two meats. Cheese dip, chips, salsa, all included. Tasted great. Will be back to try more. So thankful the guy at the register helped us get the best deal when we were ordering/visiting for the first time.

We eat here every Tuesday for their $1 tacos and it’s delicious! I don’t understand why the restaurant is not packed. We’ve told so many people about it because we feel like it’s not advertised enough how good it is for such a low price!

The food was pretty good…street tacos were great. Chips and salsa were average. Their staff was VERY good, nice and polite, helped us with everything we wanted. Dining in experience was pretty bad. No TV, no music, no decor.

I have really tried to give this place chance after chance since new ownership. I have been 5 times (including today) since King Burrito was replaced. Every time I am disappointed. It isn’t the people. They are great. It is solely the food. Everything that made King Burrito so good is gone. The quality is down, the taste/texture is just off. I haven’t been to King Burrito on 8th St in a while, but hoping they still have the same quality experience I have grown to enjoy.

My family and I love king burrito but the kid who took our order thru the drive thru just a bit ago messed up my order. I ordered cheese sauce on my enchiladas but got the verde sauce instead. No biggy, I’ll try it. It’s wayyyy too spicy for me. I called to see if I could go to a king burrito closer to my location since they messed up the order. If not, I’d go back to the pleasant grove location. The kid told me I ordered the green sauce. No? I didn’t? I order the same thing every time I go there. He got an attitude with me so I asked to speak with the manager. He says the manager isn’t there…. Really?
