Top 3 restaurants in Galena. David our server was awesome and very attentive. I wish I could give 6 stars. I have to say the atmosphere is fantastic and I would recommend this place to anyone within a 100 mile radius of Galena. The steak sandwich is great and the poutine fries are incredible. We visited on 4/6/23. Super cute place, the patisserie items are top notch! We got the macarons and the mixed berry tart – all were excellent. Cocktails were great. We ordered the poutine and it just was not good. I’m used to it with gravy and cheese curds (as it should be) – theirs had a BBQ flavored. pulled pork on it and a liquid cheese. Not good, in my opinion. We would go back to to try other menu items. Staff was very nice.

The atomosphere is cool and the service was good at Bread and Vine. Their coffee was so-so. The flavor of the almond croissant was good but it was dried out. The restaurant had many fancy bakery items but I didn’t try any of them. The dinner menu is very limited. I was told that the handful of menu items offered are excellent.

Stopped in to try some deserts it was really good. We tried the Mascapone berries eclair and flourless chocolate cake. Loved the taste, perfect sweetness and freshly baked. Service was quick. The dining area is a bit cramped up but apart from that no issues. I would highly recommend this place if you’ve a sweet tooth.
