Ordered a 10 piece chicken and could not feed my family due to the fact the chicken was extremely dry and hard. After looking at the reviews now there was another customer at the time who wrote eight months ago that they also was served dry chicken. This restaurant should be closed for serving poor quality food.

I picked up an order of chicken and mac & cheese on Dec 5th, 2022 from here. Unfortunately have to say this was the absolutely WORST product quality and product flavor meal I have ever purchased. First allow me to say the service personnel were the absolute best. Extremely friendly and helpful and that itself was a wonderful experience. It ended there however after returning home and trying the meal. The chicken was simply put dried out – had been in the heat lamp WAY too long. Looked good on the outside but pealing off the breading you can visually see the chicken meat itself was dried up and darkened. Not the first time I’ve had that and could have been OK to some degree but the larger issue was the entire breading and flavoring was completely WITHOUT any flavor whatsoever. At most it simply tasted like the grease it was fried in. No spices, no salt, no flavoring of any kind like it was colored flower and that’s it. Very strange and very, very bad. It didn’t stop there. The mac and cheese was equally without any flavor or appeal. It’s mac and cheese we’re talking about here and it should at least taste like cheese but it didn’t. Like eating plain pasta with no sauce. Poor, poor.

Ordered grilled chicken and got fried chicken for my event. Was unhappy. I called and the lady told me they don’t have grilled chicken . She repeated my order when I placed it. She said she is too busy and I need to call her back. What a terrible service. First and last time ordering here (East Dundee Location)

I’ve been going to Brown’s Chicken around Chicago for over 4 decades. Great food and the taste brings back fond memories. Sadly prices keep going up, and the cashier at this location explaining that a 4 dollar upcharge for cheese on top of a pasta bowl that’s the same size as a side will make it “a meal” seems unjustified. I hope the location figures out how to balance things, because it is a nice option to have locally.

When I ordered, I had to wait for 20 minutes because they had ran out of fried chicken, when I got my chicken, I could tell that they had prepared it well, not only because of the smell, but as well as how crispy this chicken was.There was only around 2-3 people I believe were there when I went so, I didn’t mind the wait considering they had customers before us.I would recommend this place to people because the chicken was really crispy and flavourful.I also got the spaghetti and meatballs which I had enjoyed since the sauce was a bit sweet.Overall, I would recommend this place to others.
