I can’t help but express my disappointment with the food, especially the fish. Having experienced their fantastic nigiri at their previous location, my expectations were high. Regrettably, the nigiri fell short in terms of both flavor and freshness. The uni (sea urchin) had an unexpected fishy taste that was quite off-putting, and the scallop nigiri was surprisingly bland. Similar for their tuna tasting plate and their nigiri set. It’s evident that the quality I had come to associate with Brush was missing during this visit. This was particularly disheartening given the restaurant’s reputation and the relatively higher price point.

Edit: LOL literally one day after I posted this negative review 10 five star reviews popped out of nowhere, all from accounts with <3 reviews. Now updating my review to 1 star to balance out the bots. Food is probably worth 2-3 stars. Service is great.

Came here on a Friday night with some friends, the atmosphere and service was good but the Sushi was sub par compared to MF, Umi, Eight which I would say are all in the same price range. Drinks were good but nothing special. Wouldn’t recommend.

The service is fantastic with the food to match! High end sushi done done right, and the drinks are delicious too.

Fish lacks flavor, service is good but didn’t serve even ginger and soy sauce along with the sushi. Way overpriced for its quality.

I went to the old Decatur location last year and was pleased to find them opening up in Buckhead instead since it’s closer for me. It’s def a different atmosphere and I love the moodiness of the place. The manager checked on us multiple times and our server, Leo, was attentive and gave great recommendations.

Me and my husband came to cuddlefish lots of times in decatur when we heard it was closing down we were bummed out, but we knew Brush was reopening an d we manifested it, and let me tell you IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT, We came on grand opening night we were greeted by josh who was the host and led us to the table, the restaurant is absolutely beautiful, a date night spot in my books, Our server who we had in the past Jimmy gave us t he run down of what brush had to offer from small plates to the bintochan grill to the chefs choice, we got one coarse from those 3 categories and all I can say is WE WERE SPEECHLESS, Every dish had a phenomenal level of experience and to top it off Jimmy gave us pairings especially with the umami cocktail that made the whole experience to the next level at the end we also had a couple dessert options and decided to go with the Crem’t de Anjou, we we’re how shocked every bite got better and better with the mango the grapefruit everything that there all was to it, Jimmy also recommended that we get the “.Milk punch Labor of love” it was a dessert cocktail that went so well with it, Thank you brush Thank you jimmy thank you to Chef Jason, Will be returning!!
