Enjoyed my egussi soup! It was delicious!! Although the owner was extremely rude to his waitress! Screaming at her in front of his customers telling her to go home, leaving him to be the only server.

I rarely write reviews but I had no choice, maybe I can save someone a trip and a few dollars or have this restaurant do better with cooking. I have no idea how this restaurant have a 4.2 rating! My food was not edible, I threw it away and went to purchase another food from another African restaurant. First let me start saying the only reason I even gave it two stars instead of one is because of the young lady who answered the phone to help me order my food. She was so nice and helpful. Customer service was great. Now let’s get to the food. Nasty! Rice was burnt! Idk what kind of jollof rice that was but it wasn’t good at all! Smelled and tasted burnt. Goat was hard as hell, I couldn’t chew it. And the gravy was so spicy I couldn’t do nothing but throw my plate away after tasting it, that was the last straw! Only thing that was good was the sweet plantain. I don’t see how this plate was worth $25. I’m so happy Uber eats refunded me my money! I went to AFCO on old National to get me another plate of food.

For my first time eating fufu, egusi and go. This meal set a high standard, especially with the extremely warm and welcoming Shae as a server. Will definitely be returning. Must try if you in the area, you won’t regret it!

Well, I was so excited to try something new with this Nigerian restaurant. It was recommended..but I have to say, I’m a bit disappointed..my friend warned me to look at it to make sure everything was in there before I left…He told me I can trust! but I must verify!. I trusted but I didn’t verify..It was my fault..I bought the fish, red sauce with jolof rice. Chicken red sauce with white rice..I was very disappointed with the chicken. I received 2 drumsticks, 4 pieces of plantain and a heap of Rice that tasted old. There was no vegetable and it cost me $18.00 for lunch. The fish was ok, the jolof rice didn’t taste fresh, the fish was $ 25.00. the Staff was friendly. I have had jolof rice before and from my Nigerian friends and this jolof rice tasted like boxed Rice..The owner told me to give a review but unfortunately that’s the best I can do. There is room for improvement.

I had just gave birth and the first thing I wanted was some yummy croaker fish with jallof rice. My sons Glamma made it happen and bring it back to the hospital my food was so fresh and yummy i was forever grateful and will continue to be grateful for Buka2 providing amazing service & delicious food. Thank you to the beautiful angel that blessed us that day that works there. Wishing nothing but success and blessing to this entire establishment.

The food I ate at the restaurant kept me on a happy mood for a long time and my friends got tired of me hyping the experience.

I was in the area and was craving some fufu and egusi soup. Buka 2 had the best reviews in the area so I decided to try. I walked in and the vibes were amazing. The staff was absolutely friendly and fast! I live 30 mins away. I got my fufu and egusi (with chicken) and drove home. Once I got home my food was still completely hot and ready to eat! The flavors were amazing! I will be back and that’s a fact
