We had to wait 25 minutes but as you can see by our five stars, we didn’t mind, because our server — the only server tending to the entire place efficiently — was so nice, patient & professional. He offered to text us (they don’t have a buzzer) & gave me complimentary fries for the wait.

I tried the chicken sandwich at Burning Mouth Nashville Hot Chicken and while it was underwhelming compared to other sandwiches I’ve had, it was still pretty good. The chicken itself was juicy and cooked well, but the seasoning and overall flavor could have been better. The bun was also a bit dry. That being said, the sandwich was still enjoyable and the service was friendly. Prices were reasonable too. Overall, it’s worth a try if you’re in the area.

The presentation of the food was great! Sometimes I’ll go to Hot Chicken places and it’ll just take like salt and have almost zero heat–I got the Good level and left with my sinuses cleared and lips burning. Zack was very pleasant when I asked for substitutions (extra comeback sauce instead of ranch, and again when I needed a to-go box for being a weenie). Brodin was the cook and performed phenomonally. The fries tasted uniquely like barbeque crisps and was organized to where I could chose what I wanted together (or apart for that matter), but the garlic bread being under the tenders to soak up the excess spices was divine. Both employees were very friendly at every request. Burnin’ Mouth stands out as the #1 hot chicken place for me.

If you want food with lots of flavor I recommend Burnin’ Mouth! We got the Coo Coo sandwich, one was the “Insane” level of hot, the other was the “Ugly” and as the name suggests they were both very spicy, I will probably try one level of spice down next time which is the “Good” just so it’s still flavorful but not too hot! Also the young man working there Micah, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, thank you for the excellent customer service!

Loved this place! Definitely reminded me of chicken I had in Nashville. The flavor was on point with the crispiness of the chicken, the heat delivered (and I only had a medium!), and I could eat those fries all day long. Definitely will be coming back!

Not only was the employee in the photo extremely rude. The restaurant was extremely dirty and the table we sat at was EXTREMELY wobbly. The employee didn’t bother to wipe off the tables when it wasn’t busy. When we said we didn’t get our sauce he Passive aggressively said “that’s cause you grabbed your food when it wasn’t ready” we saw our food sitting there for awhile and finally decided we’d just go get it. He just overall needs an attitude check and didn’t give good customer service at all.

WOW! It lives up to its name. Tried the strips and fries. We got one basket the “Good” spice level. And one basket the “Ugly” level. Holy hell the “Ugly” level is hoottttt. My lips and tounge were just burning. The good level definitely has a good balance between flavor and with a little kick… would recommend that level for most people.

A couple of us went to try the different levels of heat and it was delish. We started off mid-level and the heat was noticeable. You get a lot of food for the money. Tried the 2 variations of the Coo Coo Nashville and Chick Strips and definitely will go back.

This chicken is so tasty, don’t get me wrong! I wanted to put their heat to the test, and WHOA! My mouth was up in flames. If you appreciate some heat give this place a try!

VERY VERY GOOD. We tried the sandwich and the strips, and both were so yummy. You can tell that the chicken is made to order because the batter tastes fresh and falls of the chicken a bit (wasn’t terrible though, you still have those pieces to eat with the chicken). The chicken is juicy too. I’d confidently say this is the best chicken place I’ve been to in the Boise area. Also loved the outdoor seating, lots of people were walking by while we were eating saying how good it looked. Definitely recommend if you’re craving some fried chicken!
