Arguably my favorite restaurant ever! Stuffed vodka chicken parm is the best dish I’ve ever had. We come here at least once a month because I can’t be away too long. The waiter, Sal, is fantastic and always helpful.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for 12 years and still think they have the best vodka sauce I’ve ever had! (And in Hoboken) I usually get the stuffed rigatoni ala vodka or penne ala vodka, but today they had a stuffed chicken Parm ala vodka and it was incredible. For Valentine’s Day, they had enough staff working and service was still great. They also had live music.

Wish I could give 0 stars. We went in as a group to eat and not once was it ever mentioned that there was a minimum price for a group. We were overcharged and when confronted about it, the manager became combative about the situation.

Context: I paid for my graduate degree by being a server. I am super polite and over tip. I came in on Sunday night with a friend. The place was half empty. We were trying to spend some time talking before and during dinner. The waiter pushed us to order. We told him we wanted to order the appetizer the first and then the entree, which he clearly did not like. We ordered our salads and then he came by and told us we had to order the entree. We said we wanted to take our time. He said no problem, I will put your order in and then when you are ready we will “fire it up.” My friend was halfway through his salad and a second waiter brought our entrees. We said we are not ready. He said you have to take them now, you can have a doggie bag for your salad. What!!! Again, the place was half empty. We called the first waiter order and asked him why he told us he would “fire it up” when he intended to bring the entrees right away. He became angry and argumentative. My friend said, I am just asking you to take responsibility. He got very angry and said “Who are you to tell me..” At which point the second server pushed him away and said he would handle it. He still, in a very loud voice, said to another server, “We don’t need customers like this.” He and I agree on that point, and I don’t need this restaurant. I don’t appreciate being being treated so disrespectfully.

Can’t say enough about this great restaurant. Our son lives in Hoboken so we go there a few times a year and every time we are there we get a fantastic meal! The food is superb and the service is wonderful. Eating outside in the nice weather is delightful!

This place was amazing! The food, the service and the atmosphere was excellent. The outside was very unassuming and i love that. This restaurant is a BYOB and i like that. We did not know that when we went but the waiter was great and told us about a great wine shop near by. We choose not to but we saw lots of people come in with there wine bottles and it added to the overall mood of the place. It’s not a big location so make reservations. The food was outstanding, simple , not salty or to sweet. I would recommend this place. It was wonderful.

Favorite Italian, family-run BYOB restaurant in Hoboken! It’s my go-to spot for date night or out of town guests! Order the chicken parm, meatballs, and penne vodka or arrabiata (large portions – usually have to box some of it). Complimentary bruschetta and bread / butter. You can call for a reservation (they tend to get busy around 7/8 pm on weekends) – max I’ve ever waited was 15 minutes as a walk-in. Note: the inside can get loud if there is a big party – but I enjoy lively atmosphere! Also you do have to order everything at once (apps / entree) so they can time it.
