Chef Chad Houser is both the CEO and Executive Chef at Café Momentum, an award-winning, non-profit American Restaurant that serves as both farm-to-table fine dining restaurant and paid post-release internship for juvenile offenders. Café Momentum offers a custom post-release program, teaching critical skills necessary for lifelong success, while building an ecosystem of support. At-risk youth rotate through every aspect of the restaurant from waiting tables to washing dishes, while working side-by-side with amazing chefs.

I’ve been here twice the food is great but the cause is even better. They have a summer concert series on Sunday nights. The employees are people who have been in the juvenile justice system and their recidivism rate is quite low (which impresses me) but also the food is delicious, for sure put this place on your list.
