Small mom n pop restaurant. Very nice settings. First time for our family. We had a party of 7 ppl. I was worried they won’t have enough room due to the pictures. Well they were able to put 2 tables together to make it fit us. Good thing it wasn’t too busy. The employee was super nice and constantly check on us. My kids and I were super shocked at the size of the pancakes. We could of shared the pancakes because it was that big but order extra side of meat choice & egg. The parking lots isn’t so big. Looks like it fits about 12 cars but you can park across the street which has more parkings. They have a small outdoor dining place as well. Oh remember to check their House Daily Special Menu on the chalk board on the wall. We didn’t noticed it until after we had already ordered.

So this place is for REAL! Great, great food with wonderfully smiling people providing a warm and pleasant atmosphere. The pancakes, oh the pancakes, light with just a little bit of crispiness with a hot butter and maple syrup was one of the best I’ve had since I sat at my mother’s table. The gravy was so good and so we’re the hash browns. Huge portions, and my only regret is that I didn’t have more room in my stomach. One of my faves now, for sure!!!! Great job.

Went to California Al’s for the first time for brunch after church. We were able to be seated outside almost right away. I feel like this place is a hidden gem. It was Easter weekend, and I’m sure the more commercialized, typical breakfast restaurants were packed. I actually prefer these smaller spots. I got the pancake breakfast. The pancakes were delicious. Two of our teens got the breakfast burritos. They were HUGE! The servers were very attentive. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you!

Had French Toast Combo and Cranberry Mimosa. Boyfriend had biscuit and gravy combo with Pineapple Mimosa. Fast service, good fois and drinks. Sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful morning. Would definitely recommend and will be back.
