I recently moved to the Augusta area and have been looking for decent Chinese food takeout. So far, Canton Express has been my favorite pick. Quick service and food is pretty good. I particularly enjoyed the boneless ribs and Asian wings. The pork fried rice could use a little improvement but not bad. Chicken fingers, however, were overcooked and very hard both times I ordered them. Overall, pretty good and I will be back to try other menu items.

We got dinner for tonight. Overall, the food tasted awful! The house lo mein was salty. The szechuan chicken had no flavor at all and the egg roll was tasteless as well. So disappointed! We used to love their food. I don’t know if they got new chefs or what but it was just terrible. The ONLY thing good, was the crab Rangoon. Terribly disappointed.

Although my order was ready quickly on a Monday afternoon, the food was horrible. The Orange Chicken sauce tasted burnt and was darker than any I have ever had. Every other piece was dry and inedible. I stopped trying after 8 pieces (only ate 4). The accompanying pork fried was a generous portion, yet lacking in pork and flavor. Bland and mushy. The $3.00 a piece crab rangoon (the luncheon combo was $12) where large and full of delicious warm cream cheese so, perhaps, the name should be changed. Canton Express once had the best Chinese take out in Augusta. Sadly, not even acceptable at this point.

Food was clearing not fresh! Chicken wings were bone dry, beef terriaki was sitting out it was burned and also dry! Rice was ok but not fresh! I was excited to try Caton but won’t be back I’d also like a refund as I spend 33$ for old left out food!

I got a pu pu for 2. The ribs were juicy and not too much fat on them, the teriyaki beef was tender and flavorful, the chicken teriyaki was on the dry side, wings were decent, the egg roll was very greasy and the chicken fingers have too much batter which also made them very greasy. The crab rangoons were all cream cheese w not even any fake crab specks and zero flavor.

Sadly, the veggie lo mein had tasty noodles, but one piece of green pepper, several pieces of onion, mini ear of corn and a couple mushroom slices. The egg roll and crab ragoons were delicious. This was a take out order.

The food is exceptional. Was a fan of Eastern delight, until their food got to be too greasy. This place there is NO grease dripping out of anything. Teriyaki chicken and beef are smaller but their taste is worth the extra money. This is NOW my go to for Chinese. Especially since Indiana does not have any good place to get Chinese. Once I’m in Maine I go here every time.
