At our Griffin, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Since there is no dining service atmosphere does not apply. Sometimes the food is really good. They are now offering gumbo. Too much inconsistency in the flavor. Ordered it several times before it was very very good. A week ago we went there and it was very bland. Not sure what that’s all about because I know they don’t make it in house. Service was friendly and professional.

Old man bout fell trying to lean over the table trying to hear because the Table was in the way. Covid 19 why covid 23? Sad. No ketchup on the table no vinegar its annoying that i have to ask for everything. I should not have to soend my money and then walk 5 miles in one store. General manager needs to accomodate the restaurant alot better. Food was great service was great.

The customer service was great! Everything on my plate was hot and fresh. Out of all the captain d’s I’ve been to, this one was magnificent. Keep up the good work!

It’s way past time to remove the table from in front of the counter and take down the plexiglas barrier. The pandemic has been over for a long time. So let me get this straight, I have to lean over a table and reach under a plexiglass barrier to pay for my food, but when it comes time to get my food I can walk right up to the worker? Anyone who thinks this makes a bit of sense needs to have their head examined. If you are still scared of a mild virus, that most people have already had even if they don’t know it, then feel free to stay home. The rest of us shouldn’t have to deal with this nonsense anymore.
