A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Missing a significant part of my drive thru order. I order a fish and chicken dinner with fries and hush puppies and two sides I got a piece of fish and some fries. I’ve called multiple times with zero answer. Just left ringing until my phone ended the call.

When I walked in the door the lady walked up to the cash register as if she was going to take my order, her cell phone rang and she walked away in the middle of me telling her what I wanted and answered her phone. once I finally placed my order I waited 30 minutes for one meal and there was only 1 other customer in the restaurant and no 1 in the drive-through I saw my food sit on the counter for at least 15 minutes While the cashier went and got ice Talked on her phone and went and got cups When I asked her if that was my food sitting on the counter she looked at me and told me to give her a minute she’ll get it to me and just a second my food was lukewarm, just a terrible experience all the way I ordered the grilled white fish meal and my rice was so hard it appeared to be uncooked and literally felt like I chipped my tooth trying to bite into into it I tried calling the restaurant and of course no answer per usual I live 10 miles away and couldn’t turn around for uncooked rice So I ended up throwing it out. I will never ever go back to that captain d’s again

Order thru door dash, catfish & battered fish dinner. There is 1 drawback, I added 2 battered fish filets & they gave me chicken & not fish. Not happy about that. The food was hot, fresh & had all the condiments I needed & ordered. Cannot eat the fish without their tartar sauce!

This location is the best Captain D’s. I only want fresh cooked fish….I have not been disappointed. The Manager is phenomenal too! She makes sure the customers are taken care of, within a timely manner, in the dining room and in the drive thru. 5 stars ⭐️ for this location!!

I placed an order online around noon for pick up at 5:15. I arrived on time and was told that they didn’t get my order ready until I got there so I needed to pull around front. As I sat and waited two cars parked behind me and both got their food delivered and left. Two other cars went through the drive through and left. After 25 minutes I tried to call to ask where my food was. They would not answer the phone. I went inside and they were finally finishing bagging the food. I drove about a mile and put the food on the table. Sadly, after all that wait, the food wasn’t hot. I don’t know why a pickup time is asked for online if the food won’t be ready at that time. Very disappointed and upset. UPDATE: i SENT THE INFORMATION THE OWNER REQUESTED AND HAVE NOT HEARD FROM ANYONE.
