They were kind enough to put our carry out order in the front of the queue. Brisket salad was good and came with a laughabley large amount of ranch dressing, peal Midwest. Definitely a good place to stop. Probably better than anything else for miles and miles.

I love cheeseburgers and the classic American cheeseburger is definitely in my top 5 of cheeseburgers. We were passing through and ordered takeout. We didn’t have time to dine in and it was ready when we arrived and it was delicious. Highly recommend!

The restaurant had a relaxed atmosphere and ok food (sweet potato tots and popcorn chicken). Some of the lettuce in the salad was clearly spoiled. The server did not tell us the specials but enthusiastically shared these with some locals that arrived after us. The kids meal came with ice cream but the waitress never brought it out and when we finally decided to leave they would not send to go. Also, we were going to get ice cream but the waitresses never asked.

My husband and I haven’t been to the Cast Iron in at least a year. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. We were waited on by two young (high school age) girls- a blonde and a brunette. We were so impressed with their friendliness and efficiency. The restaurant was packed and you’d never guess it by the excellent service we received. The food was DELICIOUS as well. Thank you for the great experience!

Best burgers EVER! There is a feature burger every month which is always amazing, and literally EVERYTHING on the menu is delicious from the steaks to the ICE CREAM. And small portions are NOT on the menu. His staff always hustles, are always friendly and make it clear they love their jobs and customers. Dustin has created a destination in North Central Nebraska.
