The best catfish of my life. Myself and friends were staying at Montgomery Bell and wanted to find some local food. This is good enough to travel to. Very friendly service. The hot boneless catfish, hush puppies, and mayo coleslaw are excellent.

We went here for our Anniversary and let me tell you it did not disappoint! The catfish; the star was light and flaky and cooked very well, not over, not under. The mashed potatoes are real potatoes which made me smile it really bothers me to get instant potatoes at any sit down restaurant if they are truly worth their weight in salt. My husband has been saying he wants some good quail for 9 yrs and now we finally found the place! I’ve never had quail but it was delicious, melt in your mouth good. And the chocolate fudge pie was the perfect treat to top off the meal and since it was our anniversary it was on the house. Which brings me to the Awesome staff! Hailey was our waitress and she’s excellent as well as the rest of the bunch were very welcoming and friendly! We will be back 100%!

This place is great! I have missed eating good catfish and this visit made up for it. Beautiful view of the lake. Came here after church for Sunday supper. The fish was amazing which is what we came for. I loved the spicy fillet. It wasn’t spicy to me. We also ordered the breaded filet, broiled filet, and seafood platter and everything tasted great. Nice and flakey, perfect breading and seasoning. As for the sides, the white beans and hush puppies were excellent. The fries were soggy. The vinegar coleslaw was too sweet and the Mayo slaw was like soup. The onion rings had too much breading and hardly any onion.

My wife got frog legs & I got the classic fish fillets with fries & hushpuppies. The food is always excellent there, and the portions are always generous. You’ll never leave hungry (or it’s your own fault!) Service was fantastic & friendly as usual, tea glass never reached half empty. We got there right after opening on a Wednesday so we beat the normal dinner rush.

WORST FISH SANDWICH EVER!!! Fish looked seasoned but when I bit into it boy did I regret it. Most vile thing I ever tasted. Please do not order a fish sandwich. Even my dog wouldn’t eat it.

I had the pleasure of dining at Catfish Kitchen in Burns, Tn and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The food was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection, I could not fault any dish that came out of the kitchen. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, perfect for a nice evening out. The service was also excellent, our server was prompt and courteous. Overall, I highly recommend Catfish Kitchen for anyone seeking a great meal in a wonderful environment.
