I really enjoy eating here. Sadly, I don’t always remember to eat here, but when I do I always have a great time. The food tastes great and has good portions sizes that are worth the money. The staff is always friendly and polite too. The only thing that I wish was different was the size of the restaurant. It is a bit small and can feel a bit cramped. Despite that, they make good use of the available space. I definitely recommend eating here.

Called in an order. Was told 15 minutes, showed at 20 waited another 15. Seems clear they put the order through when I showed up. It was busy so generally I wouldn’t care. The photo is my Reuben. There was no meat on either side outside a strip to give the illusion of it. They aren’t exactly cheap.

This is a must have!! We finally got around to trying it out and we were not disappointed in the least. I can’t say enough good things about this place, their service, their food, their selection!! I can’t wait to go back.

I’ve been getting takeout here for over a decade. The food is always great, and the staff is always kind, but today they went above and beyond!

We have been regulars of Cheese and Coffee for about 10 years. Recent changes have caused us to reevaluate our decision to dine here. First and foremost. service has been severely lacking – the staff doesn’t check on you once you’ve been served and despite needing a refill on water for over an hour, we never received one. I also asked for lemon slices for my tea and was told by a waitress – who was apparently too busy to bring them to me, or even slow down long enough for me to respond – that they were “probably out” – they weren’t because a nice gentleman brought some to me after asking if they had lime instead. Second, it used to take less than an hour to eat lunch here, but lately it has taken much, much longer and when it was time to pay, our check could not even be located and we had to wait for that to be figured out. Lastly, charging customers to pay by credit card is the last straw for me. The cost of running a business should NEVER be passed on to the customer. I hope Cheese and Coffee works on these issues because we sure have enjoyed the food in the past.

The sweetest ladies working here (sisters, maybe even twins). They make you feel so welcome. They were quick, the food was tasty, and again, the service was great.

Such a cute and friendly lil cafe! The staff is kind and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is quaint and has that small town feel. The sandwiches are excellent, and the salads are so fresh and always delicious. The soups are to die for, but make sure you come in early! A must stop while in ABQ.

I had forgotten about this little gem of a café. It had been around 18 or so years since last I visited. It used to be a regular favorite before I moved out of the area.
