The reason I gave 3 stars was because of the wait time. There were a lot of tables open and they said an hour & 20 minute wait…until the manager came and told the hostesses to start seating people. Then the wait was still long even though they were not that crowded…again until the manager stepped with questions. It was my husband’s birthday. We told the hostess and our server, and they forgot to come sing. I know that may sound a little petty but with how we tip, and how many people were working, that should have been noted. We will definitely take our 4 people party somewhere else when it’s time to celebrate next time. Pretty disappointing seeing how we drove from out of town to go there. Food was good though. Experience sucked.

Full Health Restoration
I came in today for my lunch and was served by a magnificent server manes Edith. Her genuine smile and joy was contagious! She paid attention to detail, tended all her tables in the same manner. She was quick, fast, attentive and full of charm, as servers should be. Unfortunately it is rare nowadays to find servers who take pride in their work ethic! She made my Friday feel amazing and I went back to work full of positive energy and with a desire to work hard as well. Her service is inspiring!

My friend and I used to come here a lot. We both moved away from the area. It was so refreshing to find out that it’s still a fun place to hang out, especially our waitress Natalee made our evening so memorable. She was genuinely friendly, extremely attentive and quick. She is definitely the kind of waitress that makes you wanna come back.

Went on Friday night with extended family for a birthday dinner. Parking was challenging as usual but that’s to be expected given the location and the great views of the Sacramento River. The food is normally great but not this time. I ordered a smothered burrito and it was straight up dry on the inside, even though I asked for extra enchilada sauce. 2 others at the table ordered the same thing, choosing the same 3 items and only one item on each plate was correct. Lastly, the ribs looked good but didn’t taste good at all and consequently were not eaten. Only the food and drinks for the kids were right. I thought maybe it was just a Friday night thing but, I don’t think so. They should be used to having a huge amount of people on the weekends especially with people coming for happy hour after work, etc. The only other good thing was our server, he did a good job with our table of six. Not sure when I will go back but, it won’t be anytime soon for sure. Really disappointing experience overal.

Not good at all. I do not recommend. We were told the wait was 30m. We sat at the bar and got a tequila flight board, just for the bar tender to say “thats it?! hmmmm hmmm okay then, this is all you want? Whatever ok ill make them”. He made me feel bad, my husband is a great tipper, so he was going to tip him good regardless of the amount of drinks he served, he did not even garnish our beverages, while we talked and drank and waited, he was making a fuss and cursing about some issue that was happening with management. I really wanted to leave. Then we were taken to our table which was freezing, the waitress Catherin was nice, and the food came out fast but it was not good. My husband took me here, because I am Latin American and I was missing food from home, but no, flavor was lacking, I didnt even eat the beans because they tasted like canned beans, the rice was dry in a weird way the tortillas were sticky. DEFINITELY not worth the 100 USD we spent there at all (+drink at the bar was 25 with the tip). I dont mind paying for good food, and this was NOT it. chillis or applebees fajitas are way better.

Very pleasant experience at Chevys, all thanks to our server Mel! Mel is THE BEST server we have had in all the years (30+) eating at Chevys! I sure hope his employer recognizes him, very efficient, knows when to come to your table without having to wait for him! The most helpful and friendly! Also had the opportunity to talk with Dawn, Mgr who was very welcoming!

The food was good. Friendly service. No wait for brunch so that was definitely a plus! The reason for 4 stars is both of my wine glasses had stuck on food when brought to me. I switched to a margarita that had just a hint of tequila. Not too happy with the the bar this time around but hopefully it was just an off day. The patio area is beautiful for outdoor dining when the weather is decent.

Waiting till time was not good. We got there at 7:43, they say waiting time will be 20 minutes wait. We agreed to wait in the car. They say they will call us when our table is ready. However, they never did, when it was 8:33 we went inside to ask what happened, they told us still there were no tables available. However, as we were about to sit at the high chair, this nice guy said there was a table for us. Our waitress was really nice and we didn’t have to wait for too long for the food. However, the foods were a little too salty. I was not pleased and my boyfriend didn’t like his food either. We ate it because we were very hungry. I have been here 4 times, and I must say this was the first time that I didn’t like my food. I usually get the shrimp and crabs enchiladas. Last night, I decided to try something different and not satisfied.
