I was there yesterday (8/13/2023) with my two sons. I approached the counter to order, and the girl greeted me with an attitude, and I just ignored it. I ordered 3 chicken shawarmas, and while I was ordering, I was pointing to one of the sandwiches from behind the glass to tell the girl to put hummus on it, the guy at the register came and told me in a rude manner “don’t reach over the glass”. He was talking to me like I was one of his subordinates. I just looked at him without comment. He has a beard and tattoos on his forearm. He is supposedly “the manager”, but he has no manners. I let that slide too, but I noticed that the girl did not have enough shawarma for all 3 sandwiches, and she tried to take some shawarma from the other two to make up for the shortage. She just wrapped everything and proceeded to put it on the grill. I told her that the last sandwich did not have enough shawarma, but she “yes there is” and ignored me. That was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I said, “you know what, I don’t want those sandwiches. You can eat them” and I left. You should see the looks on the guy with the beard, if his eyes were bullets….

Chickpeas Mediterranean and they had no HOMMUS on a Sunday early afternoon nor did they have grapeleaves. Their lines where next to zero so that explains the food and quality. All the kiosks had lines except them. I won’t recommend them! RUN!

We had the Vegan Mediterranean bowl with falafel and Cauliflower bowl at the Chickpeas inside the Florida Mall Dining Pavilion. They were very good. Nice clean restaurant with good service. There were lots of places to sit in the huge food court.

The folks here are super friendly and the food is authentic…we ordered the chicken shawarma and falafel… the sauce is spicy … will definitely be back. Id you’re in the mood for authentic Mediterranean food at Florida mall look no further. P.s thanks for the cups of water.

I’m used to eat the Conroy location which is always on point! Both service and food. My experience with this location was not good the flavor of the falafel was too too too bitter :/ couldnt really eat it.

Poor falafel quality, very cheap the amunt of the tzatziki and babaganush sauce. And on top of that, the employees With the worst customer service. Was a very bad choice to buy food at Chickpeas inside the Florida Mall.

Chicken shawarma was very good. They warm the meat up on the griddle for a minute right before adding it to the shawarma. You can also build your own plate with falafel and other sides. Great fast service too!
