Had food door dashed. Ordered teriyaki chicken sticks and a VERY long hair is cooked in it. Called store and they say no one with long reddish brown hair works there. It is cooked in it. Not I’m sorry but took the side of I’m a liar. I didn’t order food, have it delivered just to put a hair in it really. Never again. Last order from China One

First time trying China 1, I was out in Fultondale. Ordered a Moo Goo Gai Pan lunch special, steamed dumplings and fried scallops. They were all good. If I’m in the area again, I’ll definitely be going there again.

Tried China 1 several years ago, swore I would never go back. Well over the last couple of months I have found myself eating there. My son first brought some home with him and upon finding out it was China 1 I was impressed. Have been back several more times and each time food had been great. Looks like they re-deemed themselves. Hope the trend continues because not bad pricing for the quantities you get which are quite large.

Love this place! I’ve been coming here for years to get their dumplings(fried and steamed) and egg drop soup. Check em out if you want some affordable Chinese take out with a couple of fortune cookies and the cool rice boxes. They also are on UberEats if you’d prefer it delivered. Fried rice smelled like olllllllllllld grease, yuck. Generals chicken was old and very tough to chew. Egg drop soup and steamed dumplings were so so. First time here, can’t say I will be back. Customer service was good though, food- not so much.

I wouldn’t even give them 1 star, but I had to so that I could rate them. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and Kun Pao Shrimp online for delivery. Food arrived, no sauce on my chicken and my husband had a total of 3 shrimp with his meal!!!! Called to complain and of course nothing was done…. way overpriced for the miniscule amount of food you receive!!
