Not only was my food not ready 30 minutes after I called in, I witnessed them pick up raw breaded chicken with their bare hands, drop it in the frying basket, then immediately touch stuff on the counter near the phone, then pick up frozen broccoli with those same bare raw chicken hands and drop it in the fryer. These people are absolutely unsanitary and the service is horrible. I will be making a call to the Health Inspectors and hopefully they don’t get anyone sick!

Hey, you know what it is, it’s Chinese food. Egg rolls, General Tso’s, pork fried rice, etc. The food has always been just as good as I expected it to be, no problems there.

I visited this China Wok in Oxford NC 12/12/21 I ordered large orders of chicken Broccoli with fried rice & beef broccoli with fried rice…. I ordered by calling ahead, learned that order would be ready in 20-30minutes I arrived 35 minutes after ordering and still waited 10 minutes on top of the time… I watched from the window as the food was dropped in a wok to be heated and packed to go…. when getting home I noticed my rice still hard the gravy on both the chicken and broccoli & beef and broccoli had clumped up and had a disgusting texture The chicken was white as if it had not been cooked long enough and the rice had a funny taste to it…. everybody threw their food away (WASTED MONEY) I then call China Wok to speak with management and was told to bring all the food back so they could check out the recipe and review it with the cook….. I explained we had thrown most of the food out moving too fast and the manager asked me how could he know of the cook really messed the recipe up if he can’t get the food back….I explained again that we threw the food out and had my husband visit Cookout to order different food! The manager did not offer any reimbursement or seem to want to correct the food how do you have plastic glass dividing at the counter protecting the workers due to Covid but not using gloves to prepare food 1 ⭐️ I DO NOT RECOMMEND

By far and away the best Chinese food in Oxford. Better than anything I’ve had in the Triangle! Excellent service as well. Very courteous. They do tend to be very busy, though, so add a little time to your estimated finish. I like to get there a bit early anyway so I can watch them work. Always entertaining.

This place is great. A little slow while cooking but it is run by only two people and is worth the wait. Also they will remember your name if you come in often and sometimes throw in a few few items with your purchase. Great people, great food. Will be eating here again soon.
