The food is always cooked fresh and hot! The customer service is superb. This is authentic Chinese food run by Chinese owners, and has been a staple of the area for decades. Quality food by hard working immigrants. Truly the American dream! I disagree with review stating poor customer service. Do not associate poor customer service with non native English speakers. The issue is on your end. 4/23/23, Had General Tso’s today with the lunch add on a soda and two crab Rangoon’s. Was helped by Mary very friendly….really appreciate the complimentary sauces.

I went to the restaurant and placed and order for carry out. She told me it would 15 min. One lady ordered before (she had a large order-based on what I seen her carry out). 2 other people ordered after me, they both got their orders before mine. Then the lady left with the larger order. Then the lady with the large order came back in to order “something she forgot”. And the restaurant lady asked if she got other food she didn’t order. She said I don’t know, lady said can you bring it in. So she went back to car and brought her food back in. She had given 2 of my food orders to her. She proceeded to take it back behind the counter and placed my two items from her bag into my bag. She handed it to me, I confronted her about the issue,. She admitted to what she did and asked “you don’t like?” I said no, I want new food”. And said to the other lady that had my food, I said I hope I didn’t offend you. She said, no you didn’t, I would be the same as you. So restaurant lady said “I make new food.”

This is the first time that my wife and I had gone back to Chinatown Kitchen since before the pandemic several years ago….and we were both very pleased to see that dine-in was an option once again. While I’ve liked everything that I’ve ever had to eat here, ordering just one item off the menu isn’t my preference since so much of what they make is *REALLY* good that I’d like to have some of a number of things ( i.e. — the buffet ). Well, that was what we had this evening. Everything was as good as I remember it being and we left their pleased to know that their buffet is open once again. Kudos !!

Went for lunch buffet at 12:45pm. They never put any fresh food up. The few sweet and sour chicken pieces they had left were hard as a rock. There was what appeared to be brown gravy that had a hard film over it that you get when things are not stirred. The chairs had dust on the wooden ring that is below the seat. Very outdated restaurant. I’d rather order fresh food to go then the high buffer price with cold limited food.

I like this place. It provides several kinds of food, such as chicken, fries, broccoli, ice cream, drinks etc. I brought my two year old kid and it is free for a kid who is two. Try the ice cream with cookies. It’s yummy.

I spent 60 and never again. half the food in the buffet was gone and the stuff that was in there was absolutely disgusting . the soda my son got was gross and when telling the lady she just looked at us and said nothing. I will never eat here again

Only Chinese buffet left in town. It’s pretty good. Usually same food choices but the food is always swapped out after so long. Fresh food is always brought out.

Service is lacking. Food on the buffet is hit and miss. Recently its been warm and fresh and the next time I go back it’s cold and dried out like it was leftover from the day before and they didn’t even heat it through. Cleanliness is not a top priority there either.
