This is my go to from here on out. The food, service and atmosphere are all great. Didn’t have to wait long and the restaurant is clean. Today I got the Costa Azul Pasta with a bottled Corona dressed. Will definitely be back! Thanks Jackie for your professionalism.

Loved it! Everything was sooo good! Drinks were amazing and the food was chefs kiss! I got the camarones al coco my son ordered 2 asada tacos and they were generous with the meat, my mother in law got ceviche tostadas and was full just off of that! My husband ordered the quesabirrias which he loved! I also got the asada fries and omg I will definitely be back! Give this place a chance! Not to mention they had great a music atmosphere (not crazy loud either)

Update DROPPING MY 5 STAR RATING : 2nd trip to Costa Azul did not deliver like the first. Unfortunately this go around the chips and salsa were the highlight. Ordered the coconut shrimp; left very disappointed. The wait staff we’re still friendly and attentive, but the meal just wasn’t good. The rice was mushy and had an odd flavor. The shrimp was hot, but didn’t taste very good. The Mango sauce was little to no help there. The iceberg lettuce and grated carrot salad was about as exciting as a coach class airline salad at best. Nice enough people, but at the price of dining out these days, you have to bring your A game on the meal. I’m giving them two stars essentially for the Chips/Salsa and Iced tea.

Micheladas are great here. Very traditional as well as some new varieties. The seafood dishes I’ve had are great including the ceviche which is not easy to find well made. My only complaint is the camarones a la diabla were not spicy enough. Overall good place for Mexican.

If you like ceviche, this is the place to be. Anything mariscos in fact, the shrimp and fish are very fresh and tasty. A wide variety of micheladas too. I was surprised at how many tables available, but this won’t last long – once the word gets out about the tasty food here! My latest hang out in Bastrop for sure!
