I ordered the corned beef omelette and this was the smallest omelette I’ve ever had. There was like a teaspoon of meat on it and I’ve been going here for years. I’ve also ordered this b4 and it wasn’t like this. Guess I’ll find me a new spot

The service here is always wonderful. It isn’t the cleanest place, but they are good for a quick pit stop. The catfish is always great especially fried hard. I like their corned beef and pastrami, but I don’t like their roast beef. This is my grandma’s favorite place to eat because of their senior breakfast specials at a great price.

Me and my family love the old restaurant Rex. The changed menu through us for a loop with the new owner. The house potatoes are why we came to the restaurant weekly sometimes multiple times a week. If they don’t bring the potatoes back we might not come as often because it’s really not worth it. We spent $20 more than usual and the machine charged us 3% more when using our card. But we love the staff! Good luck

We have been getting food from here since quarantine through door dash. We usually get the cornedbeef and eggs sometimes I add onions and mushrooms. Occasionally I will also get a full order of chocolate chip French toast as well. Food is always amazing I noticed sometimes on Mondays if I send my fiancé food the portions are a bit smaller but I always chalked it up to who was cooking. We love this place and want to come in person just to meet the people that run it. Great food no complaints.

Homemade soups, the chicken noodle is the best with homemade noodles. The food is good, it’s usually pretty quick so you’re not waiting long for your food. Service is always excellent. The food is better than average on some days because it depends on who’s cooking, if you go more than a couple times you’ll definitely notice. Very reasonably priced, you get a breakfast for two people for around $16-20 which is really good for breakfast these days.

I really enjoyed my takeout breakfast. It was seasoned good service was fast. The staff was patient and friendly. The restaurant was clean and decorated for the 4th of July that made the environment cheerful. Parking is great.

New Owners, Same food with a different name and the prices have DOUBLED! There almost always used to be a wait here. And now its almost empty. They took a great thing people drove from all over to get to and ruined it. I DONT WANT TO PAY 16$ FOR THE SAME OMELETTE IVE BEEN PAYING 8 FOR YEARS. Hardly any meat at all in my skillet. Maybe 2 sausage links, THATS IT I’ll never be back unless they stop the price gouging. They probably won’t last a year. #majormessup

Today is Saturday August 12th. This morning and I was walking by Rex’s Deli. And I noticed that Rex’s Deli must of changed ownership. The new name is The Cracked Egg of Harper Woods. I remember back in the day when this used to be The IHOP across from the Old Eastland Mall back in the 1970’s.
