Went in the back to get a job. Manager smoking cigarettes and employees vaping. Entire back smells like smoke and nicotine. Sanitizing solution hung next to cups and I’ve seen the solution spilled onto some of the cups. People don’t wash their hands between handling cleaners and food, even if their hands are still damp. Disorganized, floors everywhere covered in grease and food. Floors mopped with discolored, brown water. Would not trust them to serve clean water. Saw an employee cleaning under his fingernails with an exact-o knife and flicking what he found onto the floor.

I’ve never had a problem with this location… until today. I went through the drive thru and got a chicken strip basket and a blizzard. Wasn’t given a receipt. I go home and start eating, and everything in that box tasted like it was fried with a cigarette in the grease. Every bite was like eating a cigarette. I could vomit, completely inedible. Threw it all away. I’m out money, with no receipt to get reimbursed, and at this point just praying I don’t get food poisoning from it. The online “contact us” forum is useless, and they don’t answer the phone when you call.

To be honest, I hate giving negative reviews. I really do. I’m hoping this can be constructive for management/ownership in order to improve service and restaurant quality. In their defense, the building was surrounded by cars when I arrived, and there was a line in the store. The kitchen was an absolute wreck(see photos). All workers looked beat down and unhappy. I ordered two “medium” blizzards and after several minutes I received two hastily made “mini” blizzards. I had no time to sort it out so I just informed the staff of their mistake and left. Usually I have good service and great food from this location so I hope this was just a fluke. I’ll give them another chance.

My grandmother continues to work circles around every employee at this location. She’s been dead for 3 years, but she’s still faster and more competent. This location manages to be out of about half of their menu… or claim something isn’t even on the menu when I’m looking right at it… or screw up the order…Every. Single. Time. It isn’t covid related. This Dairy Queen has been a complete mess for 30 years. Avoid it like the plague. If it wasn’t for their proximity to the adjacent neighborhood, this location would have gone under decades ago. Everyone in town knows this location is a hot disaster and sadly nothing ever improves. Most recently I ordered 3 misty slushes- two blue raspberry and one cherry. To my complete shock and amazement, the machine was actually working today! I felt like I’d won the lottery! However, what I received was two grape and a strawberry-kiwi… Incompetence doesn’t even begin to describe it at this point… they just clearly do not care whatsoever.
