Man, I ate here while I was in town a couple weeks back. The pulled pork baked potato was SO good. As you see in the photo I was already devouring it and forgot to get a photo of it before I dug in. Probably the best bbq baked potato I have had. Also, the peach cobbler was DELICIOUS. Service was great too, very friendly. 18/10 stinkin recommend this place. Would definitely go back!

This was a very disappointing experience. We are new to the area but not knew to Texas or BBQ. The food was horrible. There were flies everywhere and everything tasted like vinegar. For $30 the meat portions were very small and the sides were far from fresh. We were unable to eat more than a couple of bites before we seriously were praying we didn’t get sick from what we did eat. I guess the first clue should have been the fact that it was noon on a Saturday and the only other customer in site was the gentleman having a full on conversation with himself while eating his food. I hope by posting this I can save someone else from a terrible experience.

We ahowed up for an early dinner on a Friday night. Food was fresh, meat smoked to perfection (which is the main reason for stopping). We picked this place randomly, we are traveling from College Station. And it was not disappointing and a great choice!!

Ordered the 2 meat mini plate which includes 2 sides and a drink. First the positives: It was very reasonably priced at 12 dollars and change. The pinto beans had fantastic flavor and were the highlight of the meal. The buttered and toasted bread included with the meal was also tasty. It is a very quiant BBQ joint that could probably use some updating but still has that small town BBQ joint vibe so it works.

Food was cold. I got a ribdinner plate and the ribs were dry barely fit to eat.the broccoli and cheese was cold and watery the fried okra was hard . The only thing worth it there was as the glass of tea. I live on a fixed income and got the chance to eat out and it was $60+ for 3 people to eat and we couldn’t even eat it!!

Yes, they bare handed my toast and meat. Beef brisket was dry and I could not finish it. Sausage was sausage and ok I guess. sauce was thin but mostly ok. Mac cheese was not very good but I’m picky on that. I didn’t even try the toast as I saw the lady take it in her bare hands to put on the buttery wheel. Quite the dump and we should have gone for TexMex.

The workers were friendly, but unfortunately the food was subpar. No ‘smoke’ flavor on any of the meats, despite the name of the restaurant. Chopped beef was dry, cold & inedible. Not a pleasant experience.

If there was zero stars this is what would be more than considerate. While ordering, I observed the serving lady, WITH BARE HANDS stick her finger in her ear and give a good itch then proceed to handle the meat. BARE HANDED. Then as I was coming out of shock, a large man reached over her cutting board and bare handed sausage. There no way that they could pass a health inspection. The place over all looked disheveled, grimy and overall dirty. Needless to say the food was not eaten, but thrown way. We will never be back.. What a disgrace to BBQ.

As someone who has been trained in the food service industry for a LONG time, I was horrified when my meat was touched by unwashed bare hands. She went straight to the cash register after preparing my food! Yuck! The health department needs to investigate ASAP! Too bad, we won’t be back;/

Had Danny’s for lunch today. Food was not very good. Brisket was dry. Ribs were over cooked. The worst part was the manager came in and was griping the other employees about who was doing what. So much the rest of the people in the restaurant could hear what was being said word for word. I give it a 1 star because they don’t offer the half a star as an option.
