I gave Delicious 2 ⭐ because the Mac & Cheese looked orange not cheesey and extremely dry. Overall the food didn’t look inviting. I was going to try the BBQ Chicken it looked ok, but keep in mind everything is “A la carte” which means each item is charged separately or individually whichever makes sense to our consumers. My meal would’ve cost me approx. $30. Which included BBQ Chicken, two sides add some cornbread & a medium lemonade. But hey…I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. My funds I had in my pocket just didn’t meet the criteria. That’s not their fault that’s all on me. So I didn’t dine there yesterday… it’s been a while since I had been back due to COVID-19 of course. But, I’ll be back with more money next time. My 2 ⭐ had nothing to do with the taste of the food. I didn’t order anything. Just for the record.

I stumbled across this restaurant while visiting California sadly I was asking individuals in the surrounding area about good restaurants and nobody mentioned this spot. The staff was very professional, restaurant was clean and they had plenty to choose from on the menu. This isn’t a dine in restaurant however there’s a few tables outside. The okra soup was delicious. I would recommend the bake chicken, sweet potatoes and black-eyed peas. I tried the lemon cake and banana pudding. I wasn’t crazy about the banana pudding but I’m from the south we make ours in the oven. The food was good however my family would’ve preferred more seasoning.

I am a L.A native, who currently live outside of California. However, I frequently visit home particularly my mother, who lives just around the corner. Eating at Delicious had became somewhat of a tradition for my mother and I. Just yesterday my mother, who eats here often ordered a $15+ smoked grilled salmon salad… as I write this I’m making my best attempt to keep my stomach from turning. Unfortunately, my mother who is still nauseous and extremely disappointed is the one who had the unforgettable experience. While eating her salad she began to feel something hanging from her mouth; as she went to grab what was hanging…she pulled and pulled and continued to pull until a long stringy piece of hair longer than the length of her arm came out. She threw up for well over 20 minutes and the worse part is that she reached out directly to the establishment/restaurant and left a comment/review without any acknowledgment or apology. I have warned my mother to abandon her loyalty as a customer long ago when she was disrespected and mistreated concerning her forgotten cornbread on multiple occasions. The quality of the food as gone down tremendously as well as the service.. so, if you are ok with over priced souped up canned glory green than not so Delicious is your place… it’s a heavy No for me and has been for some years.

We got meatloaf dinner. The meatloaf was tender and the greens and mac were well seasoned. The food was good but the strawberry cheesecake was amazing. The customer service was also very good. I’d definitely return.

The meatloaf was perfect and tender the mashed potatoes was absolutely delicious that’s actually what I wanted the most besides the cabbage speaking of omg the cabbage was tooo good juicy cooked perfectly the macaroni was cheesy and far from dry now the corn bread was a little hard and not as moist as I like it but it was still tasty over all as skeptical as I’ve been about eating here I’m happy I chose this specific spot definitely going back!!!

Food was amazing. I had the smothered pork chops, yams, mac and cheese. The pork chops were falling off the bone tender, the mac was perfectly cheesy and the yams were hitting! I’d suggest anyone to visit this restaurant. Also the ladies that worked there, were really friendly and service was great!
