This my personal opinion, based on multiple visits over the years. I like to give a place a couple shots. This particular location seems to be heading down a slippery slope. To me the food so so. To me it tastes like it’s “came out of a can.” Hostess always seems way to busy to even acknowledge that you have come through the door.

We walked in as a party of 9 without booking. We were seated promptly and quickly gave our drinks order. This was followed by basket upon basket of fresh bread and butter. Our lovely waitress took our order, even suggesting ways to save money (one large cheese pizza rather than 2 medium ones). We ordered a wide variety including steak, pizzas and pastas. The portion sizes were huge and all the dishes were hot and tasty. Our drinks were constantly topped up and we were so well looked after. We had so much left over due to the huge portions, we took away boxes with us. The atmosphere was chilled and friendly but efficient at the same time. As holiday makers who were passing through we were actually disappointed we wouldn’t have a chance at a return visit. Highly recommend – support this wonderful local restaurant.

FLIES EVERYWHERE. My family’s dine-in experience was ruined by the numerous flies that were everywhere in the dining room. Even though there was a fly zapper on the wall the dining was filled with them. The take out has always been very good and the staff is OK but there’s no way they don’t know they have a fly problem. Also the inside needs a good cleaning and a few more ceiling fans (or new fully working larger ones.) I battled the flies off our pizza an gnocchi which were both very good.

Loved the salad with the peperchonies and cheese. I got the lobster ravioli and the pink sauce is phenomenal. I think I would rather have the lobster separate with just butter and then just noodles and pink sauce. I also asked for grilled peppers and they were so good. I can’t wait to come back!

**PSA**I cannot recommend this place, we went for dinner around 4pm. There was only 1 or 2 other people there. We waited very long for every step of the visit, from being seated, to having our drink order taken. The waitress takes our drink order doesn’t ask if we’re ready to order. Another 15 to 20 min for a waiter takes our order. They bring my wife a salad and the leaves are rotten and it has a core in it. About 30 min later our food arrives, rubbery lasagna, a pasta plate so huge we couldn’t even pick out veggies in the pasta, plus it smelled so bad like rotted I actually threw it away. Steer clear, or have a bowl of cereal at home…you’ll be much happier

Ordered Calzone. Dripping in oil, had to clean off with a paper towel and pour the oil off the foil the Cazone was wrapped in. There was only a very few small chopped pieces of meat and bell pepper. Was mostly cheese. The sauce has changed and too sweet for my taste. We won’t be patronizing again since this is the third disappointment. Each time worse than the last. Also now you are charged a higher price than the menu states if your purchase is made with your credit or debit card. Maybe illegal??? I’ll check with the county and city offices.

I have never experienced a hostess as rude and unwelcoming as the one I did on mother’s day. Instead of greeting us, she walked around groaning to other employees about a party of 7. Took over 5 minutes for her to finish her complaining before Susie came to the rescue and provided excellent service.

It was OK for being pasta but I think that they can update a lot of things in there. You are looking for a unique restaurant that takes you back a while then this is your place. The waiter was friendly and they did not take too long and the bread was amazing…
