This place was pretty cool! I believe the bartender said they had over 3000 whiskeys! Our food was so good! We had the fried okra which was as fresh as it could be, a wedge salad and Doc’s Taco’s with brisket and pulled pork – everything was delicious! The atmosphere was lovely and staff was friendly and knowledgable. Don’t miss out on the bar side (to the left when you walk in) where they keep everything, it’s so neat to see!

When in Louisville you gotta have Bourbon and this place has LOTS of Bourbon. 49 pages of it to be exact.

1st timer! Yum!!! This place seems as if it’s a small quaint place until you walk down this hallway they have that leads you to the beautiful man or woman cave-like oasis.

The real deal folks! The food here was out of bounds! Hubs was only half-joking when he said that he thought dinosaurs were extinct! Check out this brontosaurus beef rib, y’all! And the Dixie fried chicken was ginormous too! Seriously good food. Decent service tho a tad slow. Make sure you download the Urban Bourbon Trail app to get 20% off! Cha-ching!$!$!

Great Breakfast spot to begin your Louisville day! Sitting at the bar and chatting with the staff was a great way to learn about the area. “We have 2700 Bourbons and we’ve dipped into everyone of ‘em”, The bottles are displayed throughout Doc Crows for your enjoyment to drink or explore from a distance.

An overall good experience. The Old Fashioned was satisfying but seemed a little watered down. The tacos were very good and the pork chops were perfectly fried though as you can see from the photos I only received about a tablespoon of gravy for two entire pork chops which is basically negligible. If you do eat here, be sure to save some room for dessert as the derby pie was the star of the show!

Great food. Very nice oysters. The BBQ food is really good don’t get me wrong it’s definitely worth a visit. But I have had just as good elsewhere for less money. But that said if you have heard of doc crows and always wanted to go then go it’s not disappointing at all. It’s worth booking in advance. Although we just turned up we only had to wait 20mins for a table. And you do not need to wait there as they take your number so you can go for a drink in a nearby bar and then they text you when your table is ready. I liked that service we just went over the road for a cold beer.
