We are in town for a conference and Googled “Best Pizza In Lexington”, and this place came up. We figured we’d give it a shot. We pulled into the parking lot and there was no one there, should’ve been a sign. We got put of the car and the smell of Marijuana was strong, we looked to the right and there was an employee sitting in his car smoking. We went inside the it definitely needs an upgrade. We order and sat down to wait. Our food came out pretty quickly. The pizza was fresh but instead of being cut into slices, it was cut into strips. I thought this was so weird but it was mediocre at best. I don’t know how it was rated the best pizza on Google. The sauce tasted caned but the crust was crunchy. Would be go here again, definitely not.

I waited 7 minutes before anyone came to the counter to take my order. The cashier came in hot off a phone call complaining about a customer he was held up with on the phone. He used many expletives despite me having 3 children being with me. Despite my better judgment I decided to order. The pizza crust tasted odd and the cheese while fresh was rubbery. Definitely would recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Food is disgusting, management is a joke! We ordered food and were missing food, called and the so called GM was rude and did absolutely nothing!!! So they will charge you for food, you didn’t even get!!! First and LAST time we will ever order from this disgusting establishment! We will also be disputing this with our bank!!!!

Was in town for a week and decided to order in and have pizza delivered to the hotel. The thin crust was perfect and loaded side to side with toppings. On top of that, they included plates and napkins with the order. Don’t know if they do that with all the delivery orders, or if they knew by the address this was a hotel and would need something to eat off of.

Excellent! We had a birthday party and had Donatos deliver. They were hot, had plates and were so kind – they even found a coupon for us to use to make it all cheaper! Excellent service and awesome food – will recommend 100%!

Only customer, one worker, if the place had been busier the sandwich might have been better. However, I took half the sandwich home, microwaved it, added a bit of extra virgin olive oil and some fresh grated parmasan cheese and it was pretty tasty!! It was too dry at the store.

I haven’t had Donatos in over 2 years. I’m in Lexington for work and saw a donatos close. I decided to place a take out order. My expectation from Donatos was to at least have cheese on each piece of pizza. Maybe Ohio Donatos is different from Kentucky Donatos. I took the pizza back inside and asked if this was how the pizza was supposed to look and the employee said the cheese pulls from the edges and this was normal. When I lived in Ohio I had Donatos often and there was cheese throughout the pizza. Waste of $15.00 and the pizza was not flavorful.

Got back to the hotel late, took a chance and ordered from donatos instead of a big name and omg. Fantastic experience. Delivered quick, hot, and it was one of the best pizza and cheese breads we may have ever had. Wish they were up north!
