The restaurant was somewhat empty at lunch, which turned out to be a plus for us as we were a group of about 10 people, including 2 young children. The food here was fairly priced with tacos averaging $2.50 each. Unfortunately they did not have lengua (tongue) available, but they did have tripa (stomach) as well as birria, which we ordered. Took off a star because the birria itself tasted good, but the consume was quite mediocre. It missed the rich fatty depth of flavor which birria is known for. Other than that, the others in our group expressed satisfaction with their meals.

I call and order to pick up the staff seems friendly and the food was done in no time I bought a ( torta )milanesa de pollo con todo “ this is a chicken sandwich with everything “and tacos de carnitas “pork tacos “the food was good the prices are about the same as a the other Mexican restaurant around this place is very easy to find and has plenty of parking this restaurant is very clean btw.

I have tried the breaded chicken breast it’s a big one, shrimp cocktail Mexican style good for 2 people. And the tacos lengua and steak and carnitas, can’t go wrong comfortable food to eat.

Always a great spot for tacos, especially when you want something quick. The place itself definitely could use some updating. A lot of people miss it because it still carries the sign of the past Italian restaurant. But at the same time, it gives it a bit of a clandestine feel.

I missed La Mexicanita’s Tacos from The second floor and then someone told me that they opened up a restaurant. I was so excited to see them have their own space with delicious Tacos de Lengua. There are many side sauces to choose from and the service is unmatched. I will definitely be back with my family again.

If you want authentic Mexican food this place is amazing! We are from Arizona and have been missing decent Mexican food and we are thrilled to have found this place! We got a variety of tacos and they were fantastic. I definitely want to come back and try more of their menu. Especially the horchata, michelada and other goodies.
