We come here often. We always love this place and duchess in general. But we drive out if town for this because they are always good. But today . Ehhhh maybe it was too busy. Got home and realized the long dog wasn’t a long dog. Just a reg size the fries were burnt and hard. We had 3 combos. 3 fries.. all dark and hard. We ate none of them.

Of course prices are up every place…but the food is tasty and hot. Enjoyed steak sandwich with mayo, lettuce and tomato on a Huge soft roll. Also fries and a chili cheese burger and coffee.

We are visiting from Arizona. We had breakfast and dinner here! Portions and quality of food were outstanding! Highly recommend. Only complaint was coleslaw. Had bell peppers in it. Had to throw it out! Who puts bell pepper in coleslaw??

The manager to my surprise is very racist and has no problem humiliating the employees. I saw 1 Caucasian worker and the rest were African Americans. She stood over the young man as he cashed out the customers and then came in front of him to see what he was putting in the woman’s bag, it was deplorable. The manager hung over the backs and fronts of the minorities only not once did she act as though she didn’t trust the Caucasian employees. NO ONE should have to work like that in 2023. The Owner of this Duchess please retrain this manager and get her help with her hatred of particular humans or relieve her of her duties. My heart hurt for these employees. The looks on their faces spoke volumes. I was going to dine in until this behavior starred me in the face, so I ate in my vehicle.

My family seemed to like their meals. However, I ordered the chicken nuggets and the chicken was rotten and smelt terrible. The staff was nice about it but I had lost my appetite and won’t be going back.

Went there today and ordered a combo meal which consisted of a hamburger with bacon and I asked them to switch the bacon from strips to bits because of a recent mouth surgery and they upcharged me for it . So when I pulled up the window and asked about it I was met by this overly dramatic black kid who gave me a few different reasons that made absolutely no sense. So I told him how I felt then the manager came out and I explained to her what was going on and she said that’s how the owner wants it What to charge us more for something we were supposed to be getting anyway and then she was like ohh we will take care of it next time Ummmmm how about you take care of it this time and not make anymore excuses!!!!! And then on top of it make sure you take care of overly dramatic Mr Drive thru and his attitude rolling your eyes and giving the customer nasty facial expressions isn’t no way of dealing with things he’s complete trash
