Grabbed dinner on a Friday. There were plenty of open tables so getting a seat was easy. Our server was prompt and drinks and food came pretty quickly. We tried the onion ring and soft pretzel appetizers – the presentation wasn’t much, but both tasted good. The pretzels were a pleasant surprise – soft and hot and the cheese sauce was good. We also tried the mexican burger, fettuccine alfredo, buffalo chicken wrap, and grilled chicken sandwich. The buffalo chicken wrap was the best out of the bunch. The chicken sandwich tasted good but only needed half of the bun with how little the chicken breast was. The meixcan hamburger was huge and the person ordering it seemed to like it.

I just had the craziest experience. I brought my son and his friend in so the kids could grab some chicken wings and french fries and they wouldn’t serve us They said it’s 21 and up We were nowhere near the bar. I asked if we could sit in a booth. He said no. I asked if we could sit outside. He said no. We had been there several times before on the weekend and never had an issue. What a jerk!

This is genuinely the worst bar I’ve been to in Denver. There is little to no management from what it looks like. Came here for a finals game and we didn’t get half of what we ordered, it took 45 minutes to get our first round of drinks, and the service was poor at best. It’s sad because this could be a great place, but none of the servers have any management to help them thrive. I have lived in this neighborhood for years and actively avoid this place because of the service. We will not come back ever.

The bartenders here are AWESOME! Great place to shoot pool close to SOBO and some great venues. We’ll mixed drinks, awesome crowd.

All the fun of a dive bar with the added bonus of tasty food and reasonably priced drinks! The patio is lovely in the summer, and Dulce Vida is always a safe haven where you know you will have a great day or night.

Overall, it’s a solid bar. If you’re looking a sports night with the boys, I would highly recommend this place. But in the end, this place was not for me. I was not a fan of the rock music but the service can be great sometimes. I like how they have a pool table so that was really fun to use. Otherwise, it’s a good bar with some good food and drinks but I would probably not go back unless it was part of a bar crawl

This bar is so amazing! Santina is the best bartender I’ve ever had. Attentive, funny, sarcastic, beautiful and so good at her job. All the regulars are amazing! Will definitely be back!

Walked in, waited for almost ten minutes and not one person greeted us. Two bartenders blatantly ignoring us. We were happy to go spend our money elsewhere.

10 minutes into a beer with a friend, we were told “you guys need to finish your drinks and leave.” It was 10:15pm and did nothing to provoke this bartender or anyone in there …Bartender continued to serve their “friends” adjacent to us. Wish I had read the spot-on 1-star reviews before coming here!

Used to love this place as a neighborhood local. Came here nearly weekly and invite friends to here as my favorite local bar. Even despite the food menu options being limited due to closing permanently soon (was extremely great food), I would’ve still spent hundreds more here with my fellow regulars to try their green chili or french dip one last time. Recently the new waitress Santana has been very rude in every experience I’ve had there. If you see a shorter girl, with short pink hair working, pass on this location unless you want ignored for 60+ mins while she’s flirting with other customers or just nowhere to be seen. Then, when you finally get your tab she gives you the worst attitude because you’re making her do her job.
