Edit: I wanted to add that the dessert buns trio was really good! My favorite was the egg yolk bun which surprisingly tasted almost like a vanilla cupcakes but in bun form. I wish they sold the flavors separately, but they were all good! Didn’t get a photo because we ate them too quickly.

High-end locally sourced ingredients stuffed into all forms of dumplings? On a rainy Sunday afternoon? Yes please. Had the Garlicky Green Beans, Spicy Pickled Cucumbers, Pork Gyoza, and the Seared Pork Bao. I wanted to LOVE it, ended up just liking it. Everything is so small that you barely can taste the quality fillings. The Bao was micro-bao and I ended up having to load it with chili oil for some flavor. Food arrived lukewarm and the place was pretty dead for a weekend. BUT it wasn’t a loss at all, I did enjoy the food. The service was kind and attentive. Out of everything the pickles and green beans were my favorite. Id definitely suggest ordering 6-8 plates for two. Overhead for the location must be driving the prices. With Sand Harbor and other really good Dim Sum spots close by I dont know if they can stay open as things sit. Would love to see some volume added to the plate ups. Would love to see some more “value” “filler” items added to the menu. Highend cafeteria feel.

Good food. Good service. I have had better dumplings. Location is nice, in the Lot. Worth trying once. Drinks are good. Service was good.

My friends and I were in the area and remembered that Dumpling Time had opened recently. We figured we’d go and try the place out. It was a busy day and there was a long line. After a wait and a little mix up with our party being skipped over, we were finally seated. We ordered our food and hoped for the best!

Very disappointed. Went on MLK evening for dinner, arrived at 630pm and was quickly seated. Ordered Shrimp Toast, it has too much dough and very little shrimp. XLB totally failed, the skin is too think that it is soggy. BTW, each order has only 6 pieces and costs $11, it is more expensive than DTF, are you insane? Vegan Fried Rice with Chicken has fried chicken on the side, fusion style? And it has a very non traditional taste. Pork Gyoza stick together too much and not crispy. Crispy Sesame Tofu Square has no sesame taste at all. Don’t waste your money. Service is good and this worth one star for it. I will never go back to this place. Not to mentioned the 4% living wages charge. This is not fair.

this restaurant is absolutely disgusting. The attitude and vibe was so unwelcoming the first tome we went so we just left. then when we went back today to give it another try and ordered a to-go, everything was like unedible. The fried rice was hard, super oily, burnt, barely seasoned and all we could taste is the oil. other dishes were so over seasoned that we had to wash it in order for it to be edible. they were all so sour, spicy and wayy over priced. never ever going back again.

The beet coconut milk dumplings (tom yum) were by far the best dumplings we ordered. I highly recommend getting them, the mixture of the flavors and textures really brought a symmetry to the dish and kept making us wanting more. The Xiaolongbao soup dumplings were delicious by themselves & paired with the chili sauce! Lastly the Beijing noodles were the perfect addition to our meal.
