I love the doughnuts at Dunkin: they have a good variety and good size. But, this particular location on this morning had two cashier’s working the counter and I think, the drive-thru window. However, when I approached the counter, one cashier waited on me and the other, the customer next to me. All of the sudden, they began to do this ‘pass-off’ service: I gave my order to the cashier that was waiting on me–she finished preparing my sandwich and came back to get my doughnuts. She grabbed the box and then, the other cashier walked away from filling her customer’s order to ask me what I wanted. The customer that she was waiting on was having a conversation with her making it difficult for me to tell me her my doughnut order with clarity. And he did not stop talking! Then, the other cashier walked up from serving the drive-thru window and began asking about my doughnuts order and now, they are both talking to me and then, each other and the other customer is still talking…CONFUSING. Having worked in CS before, I suggest completing your service with the customer you began with and/or cease idle conversation when you have a busy drive-thru and two cash registers. The scenario I witnessed this morning is the primary reason for mistakes in orders and charges.

I have been going to the Telegraph and 10 mile location for about 3 days because it is close to my parents home and I was only visiting for a few days. The first day my coffee and breakfast were perfect the young men in the store were very accomodating, friendly and seemed to want me to have a good experience. The second and third day were terrible. The older gentleman barely used creamer and my coffee tasted burnt as well. He never smiled, he seemed bothered by any requests that I made to try to make the coffee taste better. As for the breakfast sandwich he cut one slice of bacon in half and that was that! He seems so miserable and I am assuming that he is the owner and he is very stingy with the menu items that make people love Dunkin Donuts. The bathroom was not kept clean either. I gave this location three trials and the last two were total fails. If I could give 4-5 stars for my first visit and 0 stars for the last two, I would. I will never come back to this location again.

Stopped by this location around 9am. I stopped in the restroom to wash my hands before eating. The restroom was DISGUSTING! As I was leaving the restroom I began looking around and noticed that the entire establishment was FILTY. The floors were dirty. The countertops were dirty with coffee stains and the tables were nasty. I left and went to Starbucks down the street. They provided a cleaner environment.

My visit was very disappointing. They were almost out of doughnuts completely. The store and Parking Lot was very very dirty. There were flies in the store all over the doughnuts that they had left. The Customer Service was very poor. It was a long wait. My experience was horrible. I hate to leave this kind of comment but something needs to be done about the Southfield Telegraph Store. It’s awful.

Donuts were dry, but acceptable to eat. The men’s room could have been cleaner and the employees at the counter were efficient but terse.

I usually don’t like to post negative comments, but this one I felt had to be posted. The service and quality at this dunkin donut has went to the gutter lately. LITERALLY!!! Back when they had the older ladies who knew what good service was and a high standard of quality, this place has been the pits. One visit I asked for the grilled cheese sandwich, and I got two pieces of white bread with a slice of cheese melted in between. Where are the grill marks? The next visit I asked for a small cup of coffee with one cream and one sugar. The coffee was made perfectly, but it cost me six dollars. SIX DOLLARS!!! For a small coffee. Even Starbucks don’t charge that much for a small coffee. So I said something to the young girl that took my order and she had to get the manager to resolve it. Which she did with not problem. But this last visit (and I do mean, very last visit) was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I asked for a large strawberry milkshake. The guy who was making look so confused and dazed, that I really was starting to think he didn’t know what he was doing. And when I got the strawberry milkshake, it was confirmed, that he really did not know what he was doing. He poured milk into a blender, added two scoops of strawberry ice cream and press the blend button on the blender for three seconds and then began to pour the liquid concoction into a clear plastic cup. Once he was done, it was clear to see that the ice cream never made it to the cup because it was still stuck to the bottom of the blender. My supposedly strawberry milkshake was just milk in a cup. Just ridiculous. So like I said, the place was once great, but now…it’s just plan horrible.
