Clean dining and friendly staff. I’ve had a few menu items and I’ve enjoyed them all. I like their chips and salsa and I think adding a little more cilantro and diced onions would make the salsa even better. I can recommend the lunch cowboy fajitas.

It’s not often that a restaurant actually deserves five stars, but this one seriously does. I got one chicken and one beef enchilada – both with red sauce – and I’m thoroughly impressed. The service was great, and the prices are reasonable. If I’m ever back in this area, this is definitely an “eat again” restaurant.

Ok so we were passing through on our way back to Tulsa and stopped here for dinner after reading all the great reviews. We were definitely not impressed. We were seated right away, the server was great. Kept our drinks full, didn’t have to ask for anything etc … My beer was cold and refreshing and my wife had a strawberry daiquiri which she said was pretty good. The atmosphere was really nice and cozy however the food left something to be desired. We got the double steak fajitas. The portions were HUGE.i always get extra meat because you never get enough but Don’t get extra meat here because it will be way too much lol. Not a bad thing. It was lacking flavor though. The meat was so under seasoned I had to put salt (which I’ve never had to do with fajitas) just so it had some flavor. The rice wasn’t great but the beans were ok and the guacamole was pretty good. The chips were fresh but the salsa tastes like it’s from a jar. Just my opinion. My wife said it was ok. The spicy salsa was not good at all. Very very vinegary flavor. . I seen other dishes come out that looked pretty good but the fajitas were just lacking much needed flavor and a Mexican restaurant should be able to nail fajitas. They were sizzling when they came out but not too much. I think the cast iron needs to be hotter. Nothing better than when some onions and meat caramelize and get kinda crispy. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I’m also not going to lie about my experience. If we are ever back in the area we might give it another chance and hopefully it was just a one off night or something but as of now it definitely isn’t worth a drive from Tulsa just to eat there.

The chips tasted like old oil, and all we ordered was cheese dip and guac so it was highly disappointing to get chips that tasted nasty. Won’t be back.

Been years since I ate here and it is still the BEST. Service was and has always been more than fantastic. Food is impeccable with huge portions. Highly recommended! I think there is multiple locations but I have always preferred the one near RSU.

We enjoyed our meal at El Azteca. The service was very quick and a steady stream of customers were there even though it was well past the usual lunch hour. I had the Burrito Del Rey and it was HUGE, half smothered in the queso sauce and half in the red sauce. It was delicious and I could not finish it. My wife had the Pollo Loco and she said the chicken had really great flavor. They had bean dip for an appetizer, so as usual, I had to try it. They had a great balance between the refried beans and rich white queso, and it was delicious. The salsa was very fresh. Very reasonable prices for the portions.

The food was amazing. Two stand out things about this place are 1 the AC in this place blows very cold. If you’re looking for a great place to beat the the heat this is it. 2 the food comes out very fast even if they’re busy. Truly a must if you enjoy Mexican food and are in the area. The prices were spot on.
