We went to this place because of the good reviews. We got the hot dog since there was a post about it and to be honest it was the best plate from here. However, the tacos were not that good I ordered tacos al pastor and they were kind of dried and didn’t have a lot of taste. It had small pieces of pineapple but I believe a little more of it would be great. Overall the service was great and the atmosphere as well. It is a small restaurant and very organized. Also, it has a “backyard” where there are some tables to eat. I would give a 5 star but the tacos were not good as I expected.

Loved the Soronan hot dog. My wife loved her burrito. The atmosphere outside was nice and so was the service. We traveled from PA and had a nice talk with the owner about our travels and she gave us some nice places in Portland Maine to go see. Overall the experience was great. I would highly recommend.

This casita is the best! Really really good food and great service. Friendly staff. The Mama Rosa’s enchiladas are perfect – the corn tortillas are delicious. Elotes – YUM. Super happy to find this gem!

This spot is one of my favorite restaurants. All of the food is consistently delicious and fresh. Some of my favorite dishes: the “no meat” burrito, the enchiladas, the guacamole, and the churros. The online ordering system is great. Also, if you’re dining in, the A.C. is perfect–and the outdoor seating is beautiful. So glad to have this gem of a spot in South Portland! Great staff team. Authentic Mexican food at affordable prices. We visited for the first time recently and will definitely go back. My shrimp burrito was incredible, full of flavor and jumbo shrimp. My husband loved his “plate” which allowed him to enjoy three entrées in one. We were fortunate to be able to meet the owners on the day we went. They happened to be there and were so friendly. It’s a small place for indoor dining, but we had no problem finding a table mid afternoon on a Friday. We called ahead just to make sure because we read that it was a small restaurant.

Great taqueria. Family run. Friendly, prompt. Great fresh quality. Nice garden area out back, and cozy atmosphere inside. Can’t beat it in South Portland. Worth traveling to for a laid back meal and a beer.

The food is excellent! The actual design of the menu needs help. Some of the core items like fried green tomato tacos are in descriptions similar with veggie burritos. Affordable will eat there again.
