The portions were big and the prices were much cheaper than other Mexican restaurants. I liked how the beef was shredded and not ground. It was very moist and flavorful. Dont normally eat the refried beans but tasted great here. Well worth it to get a combination plate even if it’s $1 more for dinner. It’s plenty of food. Bill was under $40 including tip for 3 people.

Friendly staff, quick service, and really good lunch. The papusas (not pictured) were definitely a favorite. The chicken and cheese just melted in your mouth. Meats were tender and juicy. The music was upbeat and lively. Definitely deserves the five stars for good food and good customer service.

Friendly staff, quick service, nice atmosphere. We went at 2 on a Saturday afternoon and got last table. This is where the local eat and with great reason. Food was great and good value. Worth a visit!

El Cuscatleco isn’t the fanciest but it’s my go-to for incredible Salvadorian (try the Plato Tipico) and Mexican food. Portions are big and the staff are friendly and efficient. Takeout is also quite good but it’s even better for dine-in. Highly recommended.

Food is very flavorful and tastes delicious. Came out extremely fast and hot, the staff were quick and friendly. Waited at the DMV and wanted a bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was.

Good authentic Mexican and Salvadoran cuisine. Great service! Good value. Want a combination not on the menu? No problem. They will happily accommodate your preference.

My friends recently introduced me to this popular ‘pupusa’ location in Cary. What can I say? I love it! Indeed, they offer irresistible pupusa, your choice of cheese with chicken, pork, loroco or beans. Their coctel de camarón was pretty good as well as their shredded chicken and beaf fried taquitos. There was a pleasant friendly environment- nothing crazy on a Saturday morning!
