First off, I didn’t see any bugs. The food was good. Cheese dip was expensive, which I honestly wouldn’t have cared if it would have had a better flavor. Not bad just kind of bland. I would call this a hole in the wall kind of establishment. They could really use a renovation. The chips were fresh, the food presentation was nice, the service was all right. I’d probably eat here again.

Best Mexican food anywhere in the area. Best margaritas and hands down best service! Chicken taco salad was sooo yummy. Friends ordered chicken chimichanga and tacos they were impressed at how good they are and no crowd. Perfect. Will be back. This is for El Jimador in Dahlonega.

The sprite was delicious. My friend and I are not from this area. We came here to hike blood mountain and afterwards just needed something to eat. We debated whether to go here or to go to Moe’s. I suggested that no one could mess up Mexican. How wrong I was. There was not a single discerning flavor I could make out of my steak street tacos, the hot sauce puree, the Mexican rice or in my friends dish. Nothing was seasoned. The strongest flavor was that of the corn tortillas. I literally took the steak out of the tortillas and ate them on a chip and still could not taste anything. I slathered the tacos in the hot sauce and yet still could taste nothing. I don’t have COVID. Other than that all the food tasted exactly the same, like nothing. This was a very strange experience for us simply because we expected just regular lunch time Mexican food. We ate half the food and left the rest. I have never had a situation like this happen before, where the food was so bland that it made me mad all the way back to Atlanta. We were joking the entire time how it was so strange that nothing tasted like anything. How could the cilantro not have a taste….. How this place got four stars is beyond me. The fresh made guac was fine, great compared to the main dishes.
