This is real Mexican food and it’s excellent. The chips and tortilla shells are made on site. If you like mom and pop style dining experiences. This place is for you.

Great rotisserie chicken. Health inspection was a solid B – not bad for a place like this. I was always happy to get a B in school.

Very tasty chicken!!! Their charro beans and rice were on point too!! We got the half chicken with bean and rice, and will definitely have to go back periodically for more, they know how to season their food!

I recently discovered this hidden gem. Very good super burrito, delicious whole grilled chicken, wonderful tortillas. I look forward to exploring the rest of their menu!

This used to be my favorite place that my husband and I would frequent 2 or 3 times a month for the specials. My review is only referencing this location. We’d go here because it’s closest to us. Before we’d always order the white meat special, but the chicken would be so overcooked and dry you could barely eat it. We waited 2 months or longer to get food to go this time, AND IT WAS A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY AGAIN. We ordered dark meat specials this time, AND IT WASN’T GOOD; IT WAS OVER COOKED. The thigh was like hard jerky. Why give ALL the tortillas when you know we’ll barely have edible meat, 1 pepper, you may get a pitiful lime, and 1 or 2 small overcooked pieces of onions? The costs has increased by $2 or so, but the meat is not right. The chicken bones on a thigh shouldn’t be burnt and served to customers. The prices would already be different when going here ( depending upon who was working the register).I’ve said it before and will say it again; this location favors certain races over others and it’s sad. From now on we will drive across town to the Green St location where they are friendly to ALL, the meat isn’t burnt or overcooked, and where you’ll get limes, edible onions and peppers. This location needs to do better, and make the place a little more appealing anyway. They used to have THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE, but that is long gone; they don’t greet you unless you’re of Hispanic descent; it’s just can I take your order with an ugly look. I’d suggest you going to the Green St. location than here (especially if you’re of the Black race). Hopefully they’ll do better on the meat special plates, because they also give you tiny servings of salsa that’s supposed to be for 2 pieces of meat, and have the audacity to charge a $1.50 per extras, and for the green or red sauce there was basically a drop of sauce in each. Again, this may or may not be because we’re not their favorite types of people, but COME ON give us a break with this type of stuff. TO MANAGEMENT/OWNER please do better at this location.
