My friend and I showed up about 1/2 hour before closing and by the time we were done eating the only guests in the restaurant. Service was good. The flavors were good in my meal but the flautas were overcooked which made the crust overly crispy and the meat a little dry. I think if it had been cooked less that it would have been quite good. I also don’t like (and this is not specific to this restaurant by any means) that they don’t list drink prices. I don’t want to order a margarita thinking I’m paying $8 only to find out it was $15. In fact I didn’t even order a drink because I didn’t feel like having our server have to try to remember all the prices. I just don’t feel that’s good business sense. I will give this restaurant another try though, I think the last meal of the day for them maybe wasn’t their best showing.

I really want to rave good things about it, but the last few times I went the food wasn’t very good. The picadillo meat was dry as was the rice. The service is not consistently good, either. This last time, the waitress seemed annoyed. We were a pretty chill small group of three who were polite and made no demands, so the attitude of the wait staff is mystifying. Not the best place to go for Mexican food.

We had a really fun lunch! Service was great. Loved the traditional Mexican restaurant decor. The food was good, but not exceptional, but I also acknowledge that what we ordered maybe didn’t give them a chance to shine. Their table salsa was very good. I’d go back again if I was in the area.

Great food, great place. We came here after the Vance Creek Railriders experience and it definitely fit the bill. The margs were great and the food was fast and fantastic. My son is a bit picky, but he loved everything he tried. If we are ever in the area again we are definitely coming back! Don’t skip this place if you are looking for your Mexican food fix in Shelton.

A group ate here I order a shrimp cocktail n it sucked, it had 8 shrimp and brócoli? Carrots and green beans?? I’ve never had one like this n I never will eat here again I recommend Taco Bell before this place. My food wasn’t the only one that sucked the food was less then warm n the rice had no flavor.

Out of all the places in town this is the only place I could find with chorizo con huevos and they didn’t disappoint. I called for take out and my order was ready quickly and guy at the front counter was great. Food was delicious! I should have tipped more but will be back again.

March 30, 2023 Shortly after 11:32 Our group of eight (including one three year old) came to restaurant for lunch. Didn’t see any other diners. Saw one other group come in a short time later. Service was prompt and friendly. Food arrived in about fifteen minutes (or so it seemed, we were having a pleasant time of it) Food was mostly good but the three who ordered the carne asada mentioned that, although not cold, the food was little above room temperature. All three later reported feeling ill.
