Great food, great drinks and cool atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and they do a special al pastor taco dinner on Friday nights. Mezcal and tequila flights and probably THE BEST fried oysters we ever had. Also amazing homemade corn tortillas. Can’t wait to go back!

We came in and it took them a loooong time to even notice us so we waited for a table in the heat. Finally someone came and we sat outside on the patio where it was extremely loud and unbearably hot.

This was my second visit to El Sirenito and this experience was as good as the first one. The atmosphere is very nice (although a bit noisy, as is the case with many Seattle restaurants now). The service was friendly, professional, and fast. And the food is outstanding – – true Mexican food, not the TexMex variety. We had the ensalada nopal (cactus salad), which was very fresh and tasty. The ostiones fritas (fried oysters) were tender and flavorful. The tostada con pulpo was delicious. Prices are reasonable and the servings are generous. I will definitely return!

In one of the more bizarre experiences I’ve ever had in a restaurant, the waiter refused to bring us share plates!

I’ve been here a couple times and it is fine overall. My complaint is that the customer service here, and at the establishment next door (owned by the same people) is sub par at best. My husband ordered the special an Augachile- this was an $18 entrée that ended up being over cooked prawns. Very easy to do and tell if it is over. We brought this up to our wait person and they responded with “Oh, no I had it this morning it is fine and supposed to be that way.” I’m sorry but in no world is that the correct response. As they were walking away with the food, mind you. There was no further questions or care expressed – and no effort to make it right on their end. Won’t be going to back to this place or any other they own. It’s all over priced and frankly when you are paying $20 for a dish and there is no care involved from them – it is a bad experience. Do better!

Best tacos in Seattle. Really good ceviche and legit saltines served like they do it in Mexico and other South American countries. Really hot sauces on hand. Strong drinks – margaritas were well balanced. Fast service. Very reasonable prices. Open till 1. One of my favorite spots in Georgetown.

I would give this place a 4 if the door leading to the back outdoor space was closed. It was very cold the night I stopped in and my friend and I sat inside but it felt like we were outside. Big bummer.

Highly recommend the mushroom taco. it was so flavorful and was even good when reheated. I would like to dine in and try more of their foods so i would definetly recommend to a friend.
