First time here. Glad we came (lunch group). Had the special, Hamburger Steak. Comes with corn bisque, green beans, and new potatoes. My only critique, tad salty. Server was great and food came out quick. Will be back.

Ema’s breakfast menu is excellent! Kind-hearted servers and a cozy dinning area make for a delicious breakfast. The beignets are melt in your mouth good. I highly recommend stopping in for them.

The restaurant is small but the flavor is big. Menu consists of a mix of pasta and seafood dishes with salads and burger options as well. Their paper menus has a lunch side and a breakfast side so plenty of options. Never had a bad meal there. A good place to bring friends for a lunch somewhere less crowded and busy.

On Monday, I ate here for the first time. I had the Cajun Benedict, and it blew my mind! Best breakfast I’ve ever eaten. I’ve lived in and around Lafayette all my life, and never put all these things together for one meal. I was missing out. My life has been changed-I never knew breakfast could be this awesome! I’ll never not take the opportunity to come here when looking for breakfast in Lafayette again. I ate the same for lunch today and still not disappointed. It’s definitely worth your time and money!

I was so very disappointed! I rarely make bad reviews; but, I was sad after this meal. There was only one female server with a trainee. We 2 arrived early & a table of 5 had just gotten up. Few, if any, others. We ordered immediately & were there for 2.5 hours & the server never returned. Finally on the second hour she came to the table & I asked for my drink refill as she put the check down. She kept standing there so I asked her a second time for a refill. My meal was totally uneventful & the bacon tasted horrible. Truly, I’m just praying you guys had a bad morning.

I was very disappointed with the food that was served, especially after hearing such rave reviews. The lettuce in my salad was bitter tasting; the salad dressing tasted rancid; the shrimp in the entrée were tough & overcooked; & the entrée left a lot to be desired.
