It was Epic! I’ve been going to Epic every since they first opened, and the food and service have always been outstanding. I especially love Brussels with Hustle, with chicken salad and no white vinegar dressing. And the grass-fed burger is great too! So wanted to love this place. We came in and had great service by young woman working counter. She helped us pick our meals and was very kind. We went outside and waited for our food. It arrived and we were very disappointed. The rice in the bowl was crunchy talking not cooked or left so long under heat lamp that it went back to crunchy. That made us wonder what cooking procedures are being followed for chicken etc. Flavors probably would have worked but don’t see us going back soon

The chicken and shrimp tastes good but the portions are so small for the price. The rice and the rest of the toppings were too bland. It’s a healthy but over priced option. It looks good though and staff is so friendly. The chickpeas appetizer was our favorite!

Soooo good!! We decided to try out Epic Food for dinner and so glad we did! The staff was super friendly, the strawberry mango water was yummy as was the sweet tea, and the food was great! I had the chicken sandwich with sweet potato chips and my husband had the surfer wrap. Everything was delicious! Can’t wait to go back and try more!

Delicious! I had the Thai bowl due to my gluten sensitivity issues, and it was phenomenal! My only complaint is that there wasn’t enough of that amazing peanut sauce. I also grabbed a slice of the GF carrot cake on the way out and it didn’t have the chalky mouth feel that is so often associated with GF baked goods, it just tasted like a really, outstanding slice of carrot cake. I cannot wait to go back to this epic place. And yes, I just did that

This place had been on my list of places to try for a while now. I am glad that took the chance to come today. I was thoroughly impressed with the amount of gluten free and vegetarian options! Today I got the Thai bowl and I was impressed. It had a great peanut sauce over top and the sweet potato chips were awesome. This is definitely a great place for people with many different diets restrictions and even those who don’t! Check them out!

Sooooooooo, I got the Loco Moco, and added chicken, which is an extra 2 dollars, btw. It looked so delicious. As I started eating, I noticed the chicken was really tough and rubbery , almost like it had been refried a few times. After looking closer, I noticed the chicken, under the breading was black/really dark, like it was old or something. I’ve never seen chicken look like that unless it was old. So I picked the chicken out and threw it away, and just ate the salad part. That part was good, but I will never pay 15 dollars for a small salad with no meat again. I DON’T THINK I WILL BE RETURNING. IT’S WAY OVERPRICED!!

Epic is by far the best place in Wilmington to get good food that you will feel good eating. I go for lunch a couple times a week and it has been my favorite place to go for healthy food. Food is fresh and the employees are so nice and friendly. Highly recommend!
