First thing, the restaurant is a little difficult to find because it is in a strip mall off of a major street. The staff was a young man with really beautiful eyes which gave the restaurant a boost. But, his costumer service needs a little work. He generally gave one or two word answers.

I had a Retirement party on July 1, 2023 and they did the catering for the Chicken wings and Catfish. The food was excellent and delicious. Everyone asked me at the party who cooked the Chicken and Catfish. I told them Express Way Fish and Chicken.

Well above average you buy and we fry restaurant. Order ahead will lessen the wait for your food. Have a couple tables and fountain drinks (Pepsi products ). Very large shrimp so the price of the fried shrimp is worth the cost. Cod’s batter coating is just the right thickness. Hush puppies are a little over priced because how small they are and how many you get but almost as good as those legionary Long John’s Silver. Will be back.

The Lemon Pepper Catfish with hush puppies is on point. Every time I bring it in for lunch my coworkers hover around and ask me where I got it. It’s lightly fried and completely filling but doesn’t weigh you down making you groggy all day. 10 out of 10 would recommend to a friend.

I am very confused about the few bad reviews I see, I was concerned about coming but when I made the final decision to eat here I loved it. The place was actually very organized and clean there was so many space and as someone with bad anxiety I didn’t have to worry about feeling watched or judged by other people. 10/10 will definitely come more often.

Reading all of these positive reviews, I can’t help but be confused. The service was nice but this was probably the worse chicken i’ve ever had. The tenders were covered in dirty grease (doesn’t look like they’ve changed the oil in a while) but the chicken itself was so dry, I couldn’t even eat it. Whole meal in the trash. 2/10 wouldn’t recommend

Amazing place, delicious food. The sit in area with the wide windows and natural light makes you feel comfortable and keeps you in a good mood as you eat the well seasoned nicely cooked food. Amazing and nice staff. Will be going here many more times

Ordered whole wings, okra, fries, chicken sandwich, and hush puppies. The only item remotely tasty was the okra and even still, it wasnt seasoned. EVERYTHING else was very bland and underwhelming. The chicken sandwich was actually disgusting and was just 2 small tenders with some kind on vinaigrette that made the bun, lettuce, and chicken soggy. There was no mayo or tomatoto be found.
