The food is absolutely delicious! We’ve tried the brisket on the smokehouse tater, the pulled pork on the smokehouse salad, a rack of ribs, banana pudding, and Oreo delight. Homemade sauces and sides to die for. Cannot wait to keep working our way through the menu. Just wish it wasn’t 1.5 hours one way from home!!

This was a FANTASTIC choice of lunch on our way to the beach! Service was quick! I had the pulled pork on a homemade sourdough bun with Carolina gold sauce and it was DELICIOUS! The potato salad and greens are to die for. Definitely will be back!

Absolutely fantastic food and friendly staff. I’ve stopped by quite a few times and everything I have tried has been phenomenal. They have several items that are available every day along with specials they rotate on different days of the week. It’s hard to pick a favorite item, but my go to order is normally the Fatty Melt, your choice of meat (chicken, pulled pork, or brisket) between two grilled cheeses, either way, you can’t go wrong!

Absolutely delicious BBQ, wonderful outdoor seating, clean restrooms. The pulled chicken was delicious, I can only complain about 1 thing and that is it’s a 10 hour drive from my home state. Well worth the stop if you’re in the area. Highly recommend the chicken and pulled pork. I would recommend the beans as well but I didn’t personally eat them my son devoured them before I could get a bite, but he said they were yummy!

This is the best BBQ in south Alabama created from scratch in house. I have been all over the south from Texas to Florida and I have eaten in every joint I could find. The food is top notch. The business is family owned and the owners are kind good people. I cannot stress enough how much you need to make the trip and stop at this dive. 10 of 10 all the way around.

Not bad but nothing to rave about either. Service was good. Place was clean. Greens had way to much sugar and honest tasted like doctored up canned greens. And could someone please practice up on the Alabama white sauce? Tasted like watered down ranch dressing. $50 could have been better spent elsewhere. JMO.

Driving north from Orange Beach to Laurel and we needed a break and some lunch when there appeared Fatty Matty’s. We enjoyed an excellent lunch. Both the Pulled Pork Sandwich and the Sausage Plate were fantastic and way above what we hoped for! The place was very clean and well kept and everybody inside (especially the young lady who helped us) were incredibly friendly! If we were local we’d absolutely be back, but since we live about 2500 miles away we’ll just say Thank You and Keep it up!!!
