We were driving through Germantown, Ohio at our 3pm meal time. I Knew it was a good town So, looked for food spot I Found this Historic Hotel Restaurant. This place is On route 725. The Traffic is fast for in town. But, a side parking area with easy OUT is there. This Place was opened in 1901 & Has history everywhere. Very Clean, inside and out.. The Menu has Lots to choose from. It seems like a Nice Steaks Place, also had Local Craft Beer on tap. There’s Rustic Hard wood floors, open wood beams, Plenty of table/booth or bar seating inside and Nice Bistro seating outside, A VERY Nice Bar Area, there was really good music to eat by. We ordered the fish n chips basket @ 13.99 it had 3 thick cut pieces of Orange Roughy fish made with a thin crispy beer batter breading with Frys (Fry’s were frozen kind). We both got a side salads 2.99, very small 1.00 extra for blue cheese dressing. I had fresh ☕ coffee 2.75, He had The Craft Brown Beer $7.00. Waitress was very nice & did a great job. Fish was very tasty.. $53.46+ tx$57.47bill $9.00tip

Whether you want food, drinks, or both, it’s a must-visit. Nice sized menu w/ alot of options, & the food is delicious. They have craft beer on tap & an assortment of specialty cocktails. The fusion of history, great food, strong drinks, & impeccable service at Florentines makes it one of my favorite restaurants!

One of my new favorite places. The staff was incredibly friendly, giving multiple samples of beer on tap and walking through the menu and daily specials. The beer selection was great. I tried the pork chop, wow! I’ve never had one that good. I will definitely be back. Locals say it’s the best steak around.

Our 1st time here but it definitely won’t be our last. A friend of ours recommended their steak and we both ordered the ribeye. He got the 20oz with loaded baked potato and salad and I got the smaller with a’gratin potatoes and salad. While waiting on our food we were greeted by the owner who was telling us of the history of the building and told us to look around. He had us try a few of the different beers they had on tap and all were very tasty. Our waitress Kelee I believe was her name was wonderful. She went over the specials and gave us recommendations and was very attentive. Everyone there was very friendly and personable. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and everything tasted wonderfully. We even had dessert afterwards because it was to hard to pass up once you seen that dessert tray she came out with

I’m so upset about our experience here tonight! My mom wanted to have a family birthday dinner. 18 adults, 7 kids. She reserved it 3 weeks in advance. What a JOKE! Took forever for the waitress to start taking orders( everything was on ONE bill). We asked if she could put in appetizers first, but she Continued to take orders. They had a limited amount of appetizers. Slowly food starts coming out( after 45 minutes). Then 2 in our family didn’t even get food. “The tickets got mixed up and went out to someone else” was the excuse. It took 2 hours for their food to arrive. Everyone was finished with meals and still no food for them. 30 minutes waiting for a bill to arrive after asking 2x. This is a terrible business for a large party. They will NEVER get my business again. Oh, and the manager yelled at a family member bc he asked to speak privately to him regarding amount of time it was taking/ and quality of food. Poor management, rude staff.

Ended up dining and dashing…..I mean just dashing. After ordering we got our drinks and 3 rolls. There was 1 other table our waitress was serving, and 2 others being served by another waitress. A barmaid and a manager were seen as well as someone from the kitchen that brought our appetizer. We then waited for our salad salad and a bowl of soup. The other waitress was seen serving her tables and our waitress served her other table. After 45 minutes we observed our waitress sitting at the bar on her phone when she came to our table and said our ticket was lost, but she would get out salad and soup.15 minutes later we never saw her again and left. Down the road I realized i had left some personal property at the table and drove back to the restaurant expecting our table would have been cleaned by this time. It was just as we left it. I got my things and left a second time without seeing any staff. Still only 4 other tables occupied.

This is a great restaurant! The food and service were fantastic! The steaks are really much better than a very popular steakhouse in Dayton. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice with plenty of room in the dining areas. The dessert was also awesome!

We hadn’t been to the Florentine in over 15 years, so when friends suggested we go my wife and I were looking forward to dinner there. There were 6 of us and we were seated right away, our server was friendly and attentive. Our friend order an Old Fashion and the rest of us had either soda or Sweet tea. Our friend said that the Old Fashion was the best she ever had, my sweat tea was rather weak but ok. I ordered the Ribeye and it was cooked perfectly and the flavor was fantastic and my wife had the thick pork chop. She said it was great, everyone had great food and our chocolate peanut butter cake was delicious. I would recommend the Florentine and we will be going back.

We were looking for a good place that we hadn’t tried before, and this had mostly good reviews. We were pleasantly surprised. My order of filet tips and my guy’s order of shrimp florentine were so, so good!! We finished it off with cheesecake. The ambiance was great and the server was polite, albeit very busy… We will be back. We hope the next time is as good!

History surrounding the hotel was very cool, decor was dated and some weird manikins around. Food was a solid 4 for the things we had, I got the meatloaf dinner. Standard comfort food, nothing that I would tell someone they *had* to try, but was good, we will come again when we are in the area.
