Our friends drove my sister and I here for a reason. It was quite a drive and well worth it! The sauerkraut and franks were absolutely delicious, and the radler was a perfect drink to go with it. The service was prompt and friendly! I hope they drive us back soon!

Great German place!! Very comparable to food I’ve tried in Germany(: I recommend any of the schnitzels but personally ordered Jaeger schnitzel. So good. Any of the potato sides are also amazing!

Brats and sauerkraut were really good. Hamburger on pretzel bun did not hold up well. Delicious but fell apart. Soft pretzel was better than i thought it would be. Overall i liked eating at this restaurant. I liked it because it was not my usual fare.

Wow. A little gem of a German restaurant. We turned around after seeing it listed on a highway exit sign and then used Google maps. Really good food. We arrived right around 5pm. Seated quickly. Waitress knew her stuff and service was great. It was just a great dining experience for me and the wife!

I don’t know how this place ever got so many reviews. I’m German, and this is the worst German restaurant I’ve ever been to. They served a Schitzel, an Austria dish, not German. They served it just the way the picture shows. A half Schnitzel that was dry.

It’s a must eat place in Johnson City! Super good food and honestly a good price for how much food you get. The schnitzel was super crispy and the brats were juicy and delicious. Also the Bavarian potato salad was awesome and overall the food was authentic. I can’t wait to visit again next time I’m in town!

This place is great and is an excellent value. A friendly staff that was on top of everything, great atmosphere, amazing food and beer with large portions with their dinners. I had their beer cheese and pretzels for an appetizer and the Jaeger schnitzel with red cabbage and fried potatoes for dinner and everything was delicious. I will definitely be going back.

Totally affordable! Food was amazing . It was crazy busy but the staff were on point. I would highly recommend stopping here. Just know from the outside the building doesn’t look like a typical place, you would have a restaurant. So just be mindful when you’re going there to eat for the first time. It is easy to walk past. The fried potatoes with the peppers and onions.. is on point!

I can’t visit Johnson City without going to Freiberg’s! Really amazing place and as others have mention the price-to-portion is outstanding along with their beer cheese. Customer service was excellent just like the food. HIGHLY recommend this place especially for lunch hour. I couldn’t find anything to complain about if I wanted to which is extremely rare.
