The pizza was ok. Very large slices and the taste wasn’t bad. It was pretty salty though. I like my pizzas with more cheese and the toppings more melted into the cheese. This was thin on cheese (xtra was ordered) and the toppings were thrown on top and maybe cooked an additional few minutes to warm the toppings. I’m used to pizzas having more of a baked toppings on the pizza. The disappointment came in with the cost for a pizza and slice of cheesecake ($54) with delivery, and the fact that I added on the additional instructions to please include paper plates, napkins and silverware were completely dismissed. Even if they missed that, they should’ve known they were delivering to hotel and these items were likely unavailable to us.

It was good. It wasn’t Chicago or New York, but it is good pizza. And the calzones are good too! And with some of the other places in Hickory gone now, there aren’t many choices left….We will be going back for more.

It is a shame they no longer do the salad bar, just went in for lunch and was told they no longer do the salad bar. This used to be an awesome place to grab a slice or pie and get a salad bar. It’s the whole reason I came to this specific establishment. If you are looking for a good pizza, this is a good place or Da Vinci’s.

I picked up an order to go and the place was empty. This was on springs road and I’ve noticed the one in Newton is empty a lot also. I don’t order like I used to. Their prices are higher than rockin oven and the oven still has their buffet. Palermo’s in conover has a better calzone and stromboli for a cheaper price also. Greed has killed this place. I used to eat at their restaurants often. This was a reminder of why I don’t anymore. I know you refuse to go back to your buffet days and tell people it wasn’t profitable anymore. But I see other pizza places still killing it with a buffet. I never liked your pizza but love the calzones and pizza sauce. But I know one thing for sure, you’re place is empty. I wish you the best because I don’t like seeing local restaurants go out of business.
