We had dinner at this cosy Italian restaurant last night. The pasta were surprisingly delicious especially the linguine frutti di Mare, the taste of the seafood sauce is outstanding. Our meat eater ordered the Osso Buco and he loved its tenderness and rich flavour of beef. A must try restaurant in DC!

Awesome place. I would absolutely recommend. We had the Salmon Pasta and Tomato Gnocchi and then Tiramisu to finish which was lovely. 10/10. Fast – friendly service and such a cute vibe! We got lucky as we were walk ins and they were quite busy, so would definitely recommend to book ahead!

Was looking for good Italian food while in DC. This place was right around the corner. We got a reservation on 2 hours notice. Cozy place with a rich Italian vibe. Being mid week we could tell some regulars were in there too. Service was excellent and very attentive. Food was very well prepared. Go down the hall and check out the wall of fame photos. I’ll return again next time I’m there.

This place is intimate and cute. Great for casual family dinner and would make a great date spot. The food is very tasty. The portion size is fine, and worth the price. However when someone asked about the dessert, the server said they’re not “American size portions.” I still thought it was a perfectly fine portion of tiramisu and one of the best I’ve eaten. Service was kind of slow but we also had a group of 20 people for a restaurant that only holds 30 so we probably overwhelmed them. It’s cool that they have names on the walls of the regulars customers.

After a long day, I needed a beer with my Italian food, and they only had one beer. Pepperoni. Very surprising. The food was good. The service was good. The atmosphere was quaint Italian. I found it a little overpriced. Their selection of gin was the basics.

I like how this place is hidden in a small st. I got the spaghetti carbonara. Tasted good, but the portion was kinda small (it is bigger than the photo because i ate some of it, but still, not a big portion) and it was kinda too salty. Otherwise, i like this place and the prices are very kind and reasonable.

An excellent evening from the moment I opened the door. Was greeted warmly and seated immediately even without a reservation. Bread was fresh; calamari was some of the best I ever had; and the pasta was cooked perfectly. I got a carafe of the house wine and never poured my own as the staff was quick to notice a nearing empty glass and freshened it up for me. Great service, great food… and I even got to join in a rousing rendition of “Happy Birthday” for a fellow diner. We’ll return when next in the District!

I wanted something low key but great atmosphere and fodd! They hit the mark even when busy. Traditional and just perfect for me as a lone diner amongst pairs and groups! Only thing is because it’s down stairs if your in the front gnats live that wine and be trying to get to you. Lol but all in all perfect evening

What a wonderful little gem hidden away in downtown DC. Reasonably priced for lunch any time and perfect for special occasions. The agnolotti porcini was so rich and delicious. The bread was fresh and crusty. Patricia provided excellent service. A haven on a cold, rainy winter day.
