Today I ordered a hot roast beef sandwich for the first time. After forgetting to finish my order and leaving me standing for a while, I noticed they were microwaving the roast beef. I told the microwave operator I didn’t want that and I was going to change my order, but he told me he was going to cook it on the grill instead. The sandwich came out quickly, and when I got back to work and opened it up, it was still steaming. It had the consistency of rubber and just as much flavor. Clearly they just microwaved the roast beef in the back where I couldn’t see it.

My boyfriend and I ordered breakfast and while we were waiting for our food to be cooked we asked for 2 medium iced coffee cups the cashier gave them to us and said make them and come right back. As we were making our coffee the staff were cleaning around is and slamming things. The food was OK. Bagels were put together sloppy and the potatoes we ordered were cold. Felt like we were treated rudely /hostile.

Ordered food from them via Uber eats. 2 minutes after I had submitted the order, Gold & Meyer readjusted the order price and charged $2 more. Not a big deal but a decent business should do underhanded moves like this. I still went with the order. A few minutes after they cancelled my order completely for no reason. There are many other delis who respect their customers

We were in the area and went there yesterday for the first time. It was busy but not overly. Place is huge and clean. However, the music took over everything. Even talking to my husband we had to yell. The menu board offers so many things you could eat for a year! We decided what we wanted and went to the counter. A young lady behind the counter took our orders mine was a platter of over easy eggs w/ham and an everything bagel with extra butter. I had to repeat it several times due to the very very loud music. Husband ordered a cheese omelet with home fries and a buttered roll. When I went to get our orders there was an omelet platter and a bagel wrapped up in parchment with the egg yolk all over it. Went to the table and my sandwich had leaked out all the delicious yolk insides and there was no butter on the bagel. My husband’s roll was dry and seemed old. The Columbian coffee was delicious and my husband liked the bathroom

I’ve been coming here for years and years. Even before it changed owners and let me tell you I’ve just tolerated this place since the ownership change as it’s been somewhat of a Saturday tradition. With my family. Today I was shocked and it was the topic of conversation with at least 5 people waiting in line. How do you justify $9 yes $9 for a grilled cheese for a 6 year old? It’s a slice of American cheese and 2 slices of white bread over butter. So between my wife’s and my sons I spent $18 for 2 grilled cheeses? You are insane I don’t care what justification you think you have. Costs have not risen like that. I can get breakfast anywhere. This was the last time I visited this store.
