The food is consistently good, love the rolls and gravy and unlike some other fast food places, Golden Chicken uses pure cane sugar in their sweet tea. Bushes ended this practice a few years ago. The only critique I have is their use of the tall chairs/stools, I find them uncomfortable and a danger when I have my small children with me and dining in. Just give me a comfortable chair and table, you are nailing everything else.

Ordered fish… cooked in filthy grease. The grease was dark brown and smelt horrible. Grease soaked through the box to the sack. Did not notice until I went to pick up my plate and it was soaked with dark brown grease as well as my tarter sauce. I took the rest of the fish out of the box then noticed the grease that had permeated the box and sack. Took it back to the store and the manager on duty said her name was Brenda would absolutly not even acknowledge the issue. She gave me an email.. needless to say the proper authorities will be notified tomorrow….. forgot to mention the tea that we ordered was given back at the window because it was spoiled.

I had never heard of this restaurant before today and went in with skeptic hopes. The place was mostly clean save for a table that wasn’t cleaned the entire time I was, tray and all. I ordered my meal, had to repeat the entire order three times over. The employees seemed uncoordinated and kept telling each things that were wrong. When I finally did my order half of it was wrong. Even after repeating my order over and over They got my family meal completely wrong. The only reason I give them three stars is for their effort, but most of all the food they did get right was actually delicious. I will go again some time and try again.

They need to hire adults who know how to run fast food place round the clock. They have good food and a great menu but they never have adults there. The highschool kids need help, They gave me the wrong order tonight I had to send stuff back in twice and argue with them and show them what they actually sent out. They also gave me this sorry excuse for a tender with my 2 tender salad. These salads need 3 or 4 tenders and the 2 they give should be big not part of one….small fork for scale

The last two times my husband or I visited, they were out of fried chicken. The first time was at 6:30 on a weekday, which I thought maybe they just had a dinner rush. The second time was at 4:30 on a weekday and they were out. Got tenders instead and they were dry. Sticking to Bushes from now on!

The food was fresh and I can truly say that it’s my favorite fast food chicken restaurant. The rolls are warm and soft. I spent 13$ on just my meal so it’s pricey but at least you get more chicken then crust.

Once, about a year ago the girl took my order while licking her subway sandwich remains off her hands, and the next day two girls in the drive through served me old, dried out chicken that had obviously been under a lamp for hours. And STOP tricking/forcing the roasted on everyone. We come for fried chicken and Golden Chick is the best when ran correctly. Just continues to disappoint.
